The third season is full of twists & turns that the first two seasons didn't do. It was a nice change, & some original thinking on the writer's behalf. Hal becomes paralyzed, & it's because of the new overload Karen. But he's secretly leaving New Charlestown at night, & walking without the knowledge to himself, & to his new love interest Maggie. But Maggie's not letting Hal go without a fight! Also the Volm are working on a group secret wrapon, & only the new President Tom Mason knows what it's for! But there is a traitor in their midst! Who is it? It takes all season to find out! Alot of people die in season 3. But as I said, the drama is rich! The boy's are growing up fast. Little Mattie the most! He's becoming get quite the soldier. As the rebel skitter's are now in a colony of their own, right outside of New Charlestown, along with the Volm, & thier ship. Everybody's trying to survive, & even Pope is flourishing in the New World. Or so he likes to think, until it all changes! There's so much more happening then I can write about! So watch & see what all happens, buy buying season 3 of Fallen Skies! Enjoy. I know we did!

Got it for a great price, but didn't realize that I already had it. Underrated show.

Love this show. Nothing more to say, but to buy it if you’re into the show!

Bought this set for the $22 introductory price,and couldn't be happier. One of the few sci-fi shows that have come out in the last few years that carries its momentum from season to season. It doesn't get mired down with love triangles and soap opera-esque plotlines. It just seems to steam along constantly evolving and keeping me and my wife's interest peaqued. Low budget production with likeable characters and good solid acting. I love this show.

Recently binge-watched this show since I haven't been up to date since 1st season aired. This show really improves by 2nd season. Got addicted watching it. Probably the best modern sci-fi show since V (2009) got cancelled by ABC. There's a good amount of blu-ray extras which is great.

Absolutely engrossing tale of survival. The special effects are truly breath-taking and can really take your breath away and leave you with your mouth hanging open in awe. The twisting and the turning and unpredictable sabotage will keep you on edge. I wish the seasons were longer, but love every minute that they give us. Awesome cast.

The story of small groups of humans fighting the big bad aliens trying to take over Earth is a great basic plot. And, it's Sci-Fi so you expect certain aspects to be 'out there'. But, I still expect a Sci-Fi show to still be realistic as much as possible. And, I expect a program to continue to follow the rules it sets itself. Example, in one early episode the aliens could easily find anything that produced heat, so the humans had to got to great length to prevent a heat signature from their vehicles. I guess the aliens have suddenly lost that ability, because the humans don't take the same measures with their vehicles that they did in that one episode. Also, the aliens have all of this incredible technology that they only use in extremely limited ways. Things that are insect size that can fly, enter a person through their eye, then control the person? So, why not use those things a lot more? And, an alien race that needs Earth's nuclear power to supply their machines? Give me a break. Some of the episodes are so contrived. It's like the writers want an episode where the humans go on the offensive and attack something so they pull this aspect of the aliens needing nuclear fuel out of nowhere. There are so many examples of that. They could simply stay with the basic plot, develop the characters even more, quit all the silly subplots, make the events more believable and not contradict themselves in their writing and the series would be awesome. The potential is there and they squander it.

Against the odds of sappy family interactions weighing the show down unduly, Falling Skies became a full-blown action drama in its 3rd season. Very impressive SFX for TV, combined with accelerated pacing, made this a very fast hour each week. Noah Wyle, like Liam Neesom, has unexpectedly become a true action star.

The dvd's are great because you can go back to any seen that you may have missed. or you can just watch some parts as many times as you like. The filming is great. Acting is believable. The charters are like real people that I have known. Dedication to duty and the saving of others.

Some times follow up seasons begin to become boring and predictable , but not this one. Ever question that gets an answer only leads to a new one. I've already started recording the next season, can't wait to sit down and watch the next season. Who's the real enemy?

This season is really good,due to the new Alliance with the Volm, but you cant help but wonder about the true intent of this species,they seem nice enough, but best beware,this entire series has been excellent entertainment,& season 4 just beginning, cant wait!

Really enjoy this series but season 3 was pretty short. Hopefully there will be a season 4 this summer that will close some of the gaps left with last years finale. They tend to kill off a lot of the better actors and actresses or leave them in a limbo state.

What can I say it is Falling Skies, One of the best series on TV. The way the people fight to stay together with aliens trying to destroy them at every turn. I look forward to the new season. If you have not watched, Please do, you will not be disappointed.

Each new season of Falling Skies seems to get better and keeps you in suspense after each episodes that will make you want to look forward to the next one.....and before you know it, the season ends and you can't wait till the next season is released.

Falling Skies is the best apocalyptic show. Zombies can't happen, being trapped in a dome can't happen, aliens are really and you have to be ignorant to think we are the only living species in the galaxy. Noah Wyle is great and he is a true leader.

I liked the first season best but never really went into the beginnings of the story as much as I'd hoped season two was great and season three was fantastic I'm hoping to see more about the origin story of the falling skies world. Very thoughtful fun and entertaining I like this series. It's like the V from the 1980's with a better story and better graphics and effects

This is a very good underrated series. If you have LE or military experience you've probably been frustrated with small overlooked details like uniforms or weapons information. They correct much of this as the series progresses.

Falling Skies is a Sci Fi series that could never be on Broadcast TV!!! Too many good Sci FI shows on NEVER got to stay on Broadcast TV longer than one Season!!! Falling Skies is a Great Sci Fi Series that you should see!!!

Each episode builds upon the previous one and makes you want to find out what happens next. The culmination of the season is unexpected and makes it plain that just about anything is possible in the next season.

Finally season two is out to buy I like the fact that it got renewed for more seasons cause it really is starting to take off. If your a fan of alien TV show with a plot then this show is for you. buy and enjoy.
