I've been playing Elder Scrolls and Fallout since theit inceptions. Fallout 4 is Skyrim on steroids! It's a beautiful game that will suck you in for hours. I can't think of anything else to say because all I want to do is get back to playing! You are doing yourself a disservice if you skip this one. The socks in this bundle are a nice touch. They are relatively thin, like a pair of dress socks, but they are rather comfy and look great too. The bundle also came with a season pass code. I've put it in twice, but I'm not sure it has worked yet. I'll be keeping an eye on that.

I have the original Fallout and Fallout 2 on the PC, and have enjoyed following this series through FO3 and FO:NV, so this latest addition is making my day. Have already played over 100 hours since getting it the first night, and have probably not gotten through half of the main story line, but I am building every settlement, so am not moving fast on the quest side of the game. It does have a lot of the Skyrim feel to the game mechanics, and there have been some quirks/glitches, but I have not had any game crashing issues, and the game play, or saves, were never at risk.

For open world RPG this game is quite addicting. When comparing to other games this smokes them in value for the money (literally hundred hours or more). May not have the sizzle of graphics but makes up for it in content quality. You can always opt to finish the game early, however I like to explore all the side quests that I can. Companions are great, some of the tasks can be repetitive like saving kidnap victims or ghoul problems over and over. Crafting and settlements is nice if you enjoy that. Fallout 4 is one of my all time favorites

Long anticipated since the last fallout game. The gameplay is enjoyable and I would need to say... great open world with lots to do. The only downside would be the the graphic bugs. On top of that, the graphics are little outdated, I would expected much better graphic for current generation machines.

Best Addition to the series since Fallout 3

Avid Fallout player since fallout 1 on pc, Fallout 3 was a game changer but 4 takes the series to an all time perfection. Only down side for me was New vegas had a few extra weapons like the lever action rifles and others plus ammo reloading. The flip side is the amount of custom building both with weapons and your settlements somewhat make up for this. But as I hope with a seasons pass the dlc at a later date will add many more enjoyable content. Bethesda did a phenomenal job on this game. 100 percent worth a purchase.

    Socks!?!

So buying the gold version or Fallout 4 came with Vault Boy socks & the season pass. While the season pass saves you $10 off the market place price of buying all 4 (yet to be announced) dlc's individually, the socks are a bit weird for a game add-on. Honestly I would have loved a Vault Boy bobblehead as these are not only collectibles in-game, but would look wonderful sitting atop my PS4. The socks are still in the plastic they came in & I've no intention of ever wearing them, short of an apocalyptic event.

Fallout 4 is a great sequel to Fallout 3, although it is still plagued by Bethesda's typical glitches and performance issues. If you can ignore frame rate drops, occasional crashes, and glitched quests, you will be enveloped into this post war world. The game's atmosphere is top notch, and the world is filled to the brim with stuff to do. Bethesda also took a page from Bungie and tightened up the shooter mechanics, which aren't perfect but definitely an improvement from Fallout 3. All in all, a must buy.

Great addition to the fallout series so far, I'm about 13 hours into the game and have enjoyed it so far. Environment is great, I always enjoy the detail to locking the game to the 50s era, and there is plenty of content. Bethesda is known for buggy games and so far this one hasn't had many issues for me at least. Graphics aren't a break through, but they aren't bad. Fallout is about the content and story, though, and that has been delivered. The socks are nice too.

If you have not played any of the Fallout games, I highly recommend starting here. It is an amazing game and the developers have added new content to make this series even better. If you have played Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas this game may not feel like a true fallout experience and there is no tutorial in the beginning of the game. After a couple of hours into the game it starts to feel like a typical Fallout game.

While this title suffers from relatively poor graphics (can we get a new engine?) the amount of quality content is well worth the price of admission. Some of the RPG elements have been scaled back (though not overly so IMHO) The gunplay has vastly improved though to the point of not really feeling gimped if you don't specialize around VATS. Can't wait to see what is included in the season pass. Cool socks as well!

If your a fan of Skyrim or and Post apocalyptic fiction, this game is a must. I am a gamer that easily gets bored halfway through many of the titles which I play. Fallout 4 improves so much over the 3rd edition. Biggest thing is the removal of the constant repairing of armor or equipment. Doing away with these little annoyances greatly improved my gameplay experience, the story, and exploring.

The game is great like previous Fallout serious games. If you loved those and other Skyrim/Oblivion games then you will love the new Fallout 4. The bundle however was shipped in poor packaging by Best Buy(?) and arrived on release date, smashed, but still usable. It was not sold in stores so there was no exchange option other than sending back and waiting for another one if any remained.

Fallout 4 is finally here and it didn't disappoint! There's only one problem I see with the game; Bugs.. It's still new, so of course you'll encounter some minor bugs within the game, but Bethesda will follow up with a patch shortly. Highly recommend purchasing this game for anyone who loves exploring, or even action junkies because there's a lot of both in the world of Fallout 4!
