I made the mistake of choosing COD over this game. The look on my boyfriend's face was all I needed to know I'd messed up! I made the switch the next day, and he can't stop playing Fallout 4! There is a cool Survival Guide you can buy separately, which is a must for die-hard fans!

I've been playing this game for about 20 hrs and it still keeps on giving and im not even half way done. Great graphics, awesome story line, and it doesn't seem to end.

I have played all of the Fallout games on Xbox and this is the best by far. This is a dream for those gamers who enjoy the open world exploration and material finding. It has some initial bugs but most of those have been fixed with recent updates. Get ready to spend many weeks exploring all there is to see. The settlement building allows you to dig into those Minecraft skills where your imagination is the limit.

One of my favorite aspects of the game is the multiple companion option. Although sometimes the game becomes a little slow, the action keeps me coming back for more and the fight sequences are fun. The graphics are great and I love seeing things from previous games.

This game is made by the creators of Skyrim. It is a vast open world with many things to do. How your character is is up to you. The sheer amount of content is amazing. It can occupy you for 100+ hours. The combat flows very smoothly. This is a great game to buy.

My first of the Fallout series purchases, this game does Not disappoint. An entirely addicting role playing / first person shooter, not only the game play but the story as well, grabs and won't let go. I've cleared my schedule as I can't hardly stop playing...

I like that you can roam around the map and pickup events at your leisure. Not locked into a particular story line. But the story in Fallout is interesting on its own. It's also fun to build and populate settlements and see how far you can get with the NPCS.

Great graphics. Tons of fun. This one will keep you busy for hundreds of hours. Crafting is fun. Single player only. There still are a few bugs yet, even after the latest update and patches. Be sure to save often. And I really mean save often. Well worth it.

This is my favorite Fallout yet. All of the factions have good story lines and being able to build your own settlement makes picking up junk worthwhile for once. Good story, good environment, great gameplay makes this a must buy for the RPG fan.

This is one of the first games to have so many crucial flaws, yet still be worthy of a 5/5 rating. It's buggy, and I think the voice acting is atrocious. However, I can't put it down due to the perfect mix of exploration and combat. A must-buy.

If you are familiar with the Fallout series, this game will be much of the same. Provides a rich story and many, many hours of exploration and fun. Good single player games are becoming rare, it's good to see that this one meets expectations.

I love games, especially like fallout. I enjoy playing but I am a little disappointed with the game. I read the reviews of how people can't stop playing and I just don't see why. It is a fun game, don't get me wrong, however I just can't see playing for hours and hours and losing track of time. The story is cool and the graphics are great. I guess it just isn't my cup of tea.

I've never played any of the other fallout games but bought and played this one at the urging of friends. If you're a fan of Elder Scrolls Skyrim then you will definitely love this game. super addictive and the interactiveness of the characters and atmosphere of the game lets you play the way you want wether it's guns blazing or strategic planning. The graphics are also top notch. Another great thing about this game that I really enjoyed is that I can play it for hours on end. I think the main storyline itself has about 90-100 hrs of gameplay, that's not including the 100ish hrs that you can play in side quests and general crafting/building communities/exploring. If you had a social life before this game, you won't after you start playing Fallout 4. It is that addictive. But so good :)

Fallout 4 has blown all of my expectations out of the water. The gameplay is good. The story is excellent. There is a few things that could be added or fixed but I haven't seen a perfectly made game yet...but this comes close.

I've owned this game since it was released and so far I have overall enjoyed this game. It has its moments of boredom and glitches but it is a very large game. Reasons I gave this 4 stars: Pros 1. Set in alternate future with a retro 50s sci-fi vibe, you are a vault dweller from Vault 111, pursuing something very important in a post apocalyptic world. Fight mutant creatures, scavengers and murders, and explore tons of locations. You will have 100s of hours exploring every place, doing various side missions, collecting and crafting items, and pretty much say good bye to your life. You may never want to come back from the Wasteland.

The summary says it all. It's a great game and I find myself thinking about my next moves when I'm not playing it. Full disclosure - I'm a 40 something dad of two kids with a full time job and wife - i.e. I used to game a lot more than I do these days. For my interests, it's the right balance of RPG and FPS. It's heavy on the FPS but it gives you just enough of the RPG elements so you think the character is yours alone. I'm about 30 hours into it (I can't pass up any little side adventure), I feel like I'm just beginning the main story line, and I haven't even began to get into the building side of it, and that is very extensive. My only problem with it is how to get all of the things in the real world done and still get enough playing time in.

Fallout 4 has met and exceeded my expectations for this next installment in the Fallout series. The depth and complexity of the world, along with a myriad of missions and characters to delve into, there is never a dull moment. The new crafting system and base building features are also very satisfying to use, and are a great complement to the game, seeing as they are completely optional. Overall, Fallout 4 has been a game worth playing, and while there have been a few glitches, they don't negate from such a great game, and small, regular patches are going to be implemented to fix some of these things. This game is really nice, and I recommend it to those new and experienced in the Fallout games, if open world rpg shooters are your joy.

The game is awesome because it is open world game and you constantly explore. Every decision you make affects character. Amazing graphics. You can mold the personality of your character also being sarcastic etc.

First off, story is way more interesting. Second, shooting feels so much better (VATS or no VATS). Everything is better and bigger, some bugs though just like Fallout 3, but in my experience a lot less annoying.
