Game is ok. Not a 5 star, not a 3 star. I'd say 3.5. Many people are complaining but we all knew it was going to be an MMO and like all MMO's, they are a glitchy mess upon release. Missing many items etc etc. At first, I was highly dissapointed with the presentation. But it slowly started to grow on me. I now have 60+ hours in and plan on another 60+ hours at least. Give it a shot.

This is definitely not one of the best Fallout games out there. There’s a lot to do and a lot of opportunities to get a lot out of the game. I wish this version came with the actual disc but it doesn’t (that’s just a personal preference) I feel like this would be way more fun with people you actually know and like to play games with.

I would only recommend this game to someone who can appreciate a Fallout game despite the fact their are many bugs involved. If you can appreciate playing with friends, fighting monsters, leveling up, picking perks, this game is for you. If you get lost in the negativity, or you’ve never played a fallout game maybe this isn’t for you.

While 76 deviates from the Fallout single player universe we all know it is still a good game. Graphics are great and it especially shines with friends. Who hasn't wanted to experience the apocalypse with some pals right? I am knocking off a star at this time due to a couple bugs I have experienced. Nothing game breaking but inconvenient and can hamper your play session.

There seems to be a ton of hate for this game, there are some bugs but they seem to be patching and improving things about once a week since launch. I get to play with my wife and some new friends I meet in-game, its the Fallout I always wanted! The PvP aspect is very minimal and the game can mostly be played solo as well if someone likes that style of gaming better.

It asked me if I would recommend this to a friend, and I said no but I'd really like to say "not now." The game has potential, and there is definitely fun to be had, but super disappointing that Bethesda released this as a AAA $60 game when its clearly in a beta, and I'm writing this months after release.

It has all the classic Fallout elements...S.P.E.C.I.A.L; Power Armour; PIP Boy; a modified VATS; etc...it does take some getting used to w/ other players running around and no human NPCs, but all in all, it plays like a Fallout game...there are bugs, but w/ several updates, they are getting fixed...look forward to private servers eventually....

I purchased this with the expectation of a very large community player base, but when it first launched there were far too many bugs and glitched to get me truly immersed into the content. I will have to hold off playing until these bugs and glitches are fixed, they released this game far too early.

Is it what we all thought it would be, no. Its like a make your own story game which gives you alot of freedom. Unlike a lot of open world multiplayer games it doesn't require dedication to a guild or dungeon/raids which fits perfect for my lifestyle. Also its more survival game than anything, so be prepared to cook some food

There are so many bad reviews of this game from people who never even gave it a chance. It isn’t in a great state at the moment but you can see potential once they fix bugs and balance some things. It probably needed another 6 months in beta before release but in general it is still fun, especially with friends.

Good base game that is obviously premature. If you're a die hard fan you might enjoy growing with the game, otherwise you're probably better off waiting a bit. Also, there is no physical disc inside for those who are collectors, so buying a digital version is just as good.

I usually enjoy single player games due to limited time and lack of gaming friends. I have always enjoyed the fallout series, so I decided to give this one a try. As my first online multiplayer game, it was definitely a different experience for me. I typically just avoided or ignored other players. Even so, there were some fun experiences to be had as another player helped me complete a challenge and then we went our separate ways. You can play this game alone. When playing alone, it's a more desolate and empty wasteland than previous fallout games, which is interesting given how colorful and beautiful the scenery is. I actually prefer it. Fallout 4 felt a little too crowded to me as competing factions had bases within sight of each other and it made the idea of traveling merchants seem far-fetched.
Worth the purchase for me, had a lot of fun, but due to the stash size limitation, I can't see myself playing this game for nearly as long as Fallout 4.

My opinion is biased as I've played fallout 4. If you have played fallout 4 and you liked that game, you will like this game. There are definitely bugs in this game so if you're new to the series you may get frustrated. Fingers crossed for bethseda to implement fixes faster

Have been a fallout fan for many years and this game hasn't dissapoinred for me. I've played through all the betas and stress tests and still enjoy the content Bethesda keeps providing their player base. Not the best but a very good entry into the franchise.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
I am a long-time Fallout fan and have thousands of play hours in FO3, New Vegas, FO4, etc. Fallout 76 is not like previous versions of Fallout. It is too buggy to play. It crashes constantly and has hundreds of in game bugs that cause loss of quest progress, weapons, materials, armor, etc. It is boring. It is grindy. It is a rehash of old game assets from other Fallout games and even has stuff lifted from Skyrim – but not in a good way. It appears that the only reason it exists is to promote micro transactions and to squeeze dollars from old game code. Like I said, I am a long time Fallout player and fan. If this game had merit, but just needed bug fixes, I would say so. Every time they release a “fix”, they only make it worse. Don’t take my word for it. Check reddit, twitter, and youtube before you buy. You have been warned.

I purchased Fallout 76 for my Xbox One X on launch day. Despite its flaws, I found that I really enjoyed playing it. Most critics have completely bashed it, but I've had a lot of fun with it. Decided I wanted to start again with a new character, so I got it on PC to try a different platform, with different friends. Still lots of fun. I will say that the PC version plays a little better. Smoother, and it looks better than Xbox One X on 4k TV. Point being, I think its a great game. Enough to purchase twice on 2 different systems. They've done a great job improving it over time with fixes and extra content as well. Even more (and better ones) planned for the future too. Keeps me interested and playing. In my opinion, well done.

I bought the game thinking that there would be an actual disc but there was just a card board disc. The cardboard disc had the CD Key on it that you could use to download the game. I'm old school and prefer to have a hard copy. It took me about 3 to 4 hours to download the game which took up a third of my monthly data use. If I new that I would just have to download it I would have saved the gas I used to go to the store to buy the game. I've played it now for about two weeks. I like the game. I don't think it's as bad as what the reviews have been. Sure there are some glitches in the game but I still enjoy it. I do think that it shouldn't have been as much since they new there were glitches in the game. But still, overall, I'm glad I bought it.

First, this is not Fallout 4, 3, New Vegas... this is more akin to Destiny/Firefall in the Fallout universe. The launch was buggy but it's getting much better as they show they are continuing to work on it.
