If you liked the first two Family Guy Star Wars movies, you'll like this one. If you haven't seen them, try Blue Harvest first. I would definitely recommend the Blu-Ray version of "It's a Trap!" The picture was excellent, and it sounds great in 5.1 surround.

Good BUT not as good as the other 2 & the release

OK, I have been waiting to write this up. I HOPE FOX READS THIS. THE RELEASE DATE FOR THIS DVD. TUESDAY 12-21-10. Sure, I really wanted to go out in the Christmas shopping for the 2cd year in a row to buy this, like the Empire version 12-22-09. Poor judgment Fox. Of the original trilogy Jedi is the least popular & the same goes here. They even cover this in the beginning story telling words on the screen. For us Star Wars fans we will appreciate Carrie who already does a character in the show does the voice of Mon Mothma. We see a bit from "Caddyshack" & you will laugh at Conway Twitty in the Darth helmet. It is funny BUT not laughs do not come as often as the first two installments. Extras on this, it is a 1 disc DVD. The digital copy is on the same DVD disc. NO CHAPTER SEARCH LIST & OF COURSE THE OTHER THING I HATE. THEY RELEASED THIS WITH ONE OF THOSE CHEAP DVD CASES WITH THE INTENTIONAL HOLES IN IT. THESE THINGS ARE CHEAP & CAN DAMAGE YOUR DVD, JUST SO YOU WILL BE FORCED TO BUY ANOTHER. HANDS UP WHO HATES THESE CASES? "Star Wars" & "Family Guy" fans should enjoy this but Seth Green may not.

Still good, but the worst of the 3.

I'm a huge Family Guy fan. I have purchased every single DVD that they have put out. I'm also a huge Star Wars fan. The first two Star Wars parodies put out by Family Guy are hilarious. This one is by far the least funny of the three. As a matter of fact, the scrolling text in the beginning is pretty much a disclaimer by Seth MacFarlane to the fact that they didn't do as good of a job on this episode as the other two. It's still very funny, and a must see if you've seen the other two and if you're a Star Wars fan, but don't expect too, too much.

Aside from the character mixtures from American Dad/Family guy, I had greatly enjoyed it. Some may say it wasn't as good, but what trilogy has a dvd that was better than the last? Not many. We all had guessed that certain characters should've been someone else, but it is what it is, and it worked out just fine. If you own the other previous 2 from Family Guy, then I highly recommend you get the third!

After watching Blue Harvest and Something, Something, Something Dark Side, I couldn't wait for this movie! Got it that day it came out, but was disappointed. Not as funny, and apparently they ran out of family guy characters because several characters from The Cleavland Show are in this. And after waiting so long for the Boba Fett V Han Solo fight (IE giant chicken man v Peter)...well lets just say they substitute it for a cheap laugh. That being said, there are a few good laughs to be had here, just not as many as in the previous two.

    2nd best in the series

This is my 2nd favorite in the Family Guy Star Wars series. I thought it was very funny from start to end. A few gags were drawn out a bit too long as done in the show, but if I had one complaint its that Seth acted like he didn't want to do this one for some reason. Still a great product for Star Wars and Family Guy fans.

No one wanted to make this movie...

While it begins as a joke, the idea that the Family Guy team didn't really want to make this movie was made clear. The jokes were more flat than Blue Harvest and more sarcastic than Something, Something, Something, Dark Side. In all, it's Family Guy and if you enjoy those characters and running jokes then I'm sure you'll enjoy this fun parody of Star Wars: Episode VI. Personally, I hope they stop here and don't do episodes 1-3.

Some funny stuff, but I think they're losing their edge. They even complain about in the beginning, like they are too cool for fox - and us. And let's face it, there are no extras. Who cares about how they made it or what it looks like before they get out the crayons anyway. Too bad. When you ask for $25 for a dvd, you should deliver the goods!

A welcome conclusion to the Family Guy Star Wars Trilogy. There are a few moments where the jokes fall flat, but this is a much improved entry over the appalling "Something, Something Darkside"...

Like all Family Guy episodes, there are some funny scenes. However, this one fell short of the series. On the up-side, they do warn you in the beginning that this one is not as good as the other 2.
