This Sony XBR 900 delivers a 4K picture that is stunning. Incredibly detailed resolution makes for a totally new viewing experience! The jump from Bluray to 4K is as astonishing as the transition from DVD to Bluray all these years ago. Once you experience your favorite movies on a 65-inch 4K Sony 900 with HDR, you will not want to watch them in any other format.

This movie was great on 4K the colors popped and very sharp my kids do not get tired watching this movie was must of watched it about 15 times since we bought it at Best Buy great movie highly recommend the movie

The movie was worth buying. Watching it was a great experience as well, make sure you watch the special features portion where it gives the back story very detailed and informative.

This movie has everything, starting with the collecting steelbook with great art inside and outside. Hundreds of extras with actors and movie makers. I just love the Wizarding World

My daughter recommended this movie to me, and am l so glad she did. A great prequel to the Potter series. It answers many questions.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling. Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four Harry Potter blockbusters. The film marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, whose beloved Harry Potter books were adapted into the top-grossing film franchise of all time. Her script was inspired by the Hogwarts textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by her character Newt Scamander. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

This 4K disc is Awesome! with Brilliant 4K resolution, Sunning HDR colors and contrasts, and the Surround Sound is Remarkable! Dolby Atmos is truly engaging requirement! This is a Reference Standard Disc and a great addition to your Movie night collection. After watching this disc, streaming seems irrelevant! A must own for your repeated viewing pleasure.

While I understand most die hard Harry Potter fans aren’t hugely supportive of the Fantastic Beasts expansion of the Harry Potter Universe, which is understandable, it’s setting up to be a good franchise. The films are very “fun,” for lack of a better term. The first film setup the story very well, and the second installment expanded upon it to really develop the story. It’s worth noting that most of the ill-feelings toward these films comes from the displeasure of casting Johnny Depp as Grindelwald amidst his domestic abuse allegations. So, when viewed separately from the stigma attached to Mr. Depp’s actions, which are contradictory to the underlying themes of Harry Potter, the movies are fairly good.

For those of us who have been missing Harry Potter since the books and movies concluded a few years ago, this new series is a welcome addition to his world. A prequel of sorts, it introduces Harry's world before Harry, when Dumbledore was a much younger wizard, and the significant players in the world were a whole different cast of characters. If you missed the magic like I did, this is the movie for you.

First the movie was good. Not as good as the actual Harry Potter movies but this has great new characters and new stories. This review is really about the value of the the physical + digital movie bundle. I saw the movie and wanted to own it. This bundle is the best value there is because you get two physical discs and you get the digital copy. If you set things up right with Movies Anywhere and link it to iTunes you get the best digital copy as well. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I still like having a physical copy of my movies for watching when I'm off the grid.

I wasn't sure how this movie would turn out, nor how much it referenced Harry Potter related topics. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie was, how family friendly it is, and the special effects were excellent too. My daughter loved the movie (she likes Harry Potter too), especially the Niffler. The magical creatures were great, very creatively designed. I'm very glad I watched it.

I had originally wanted to get a 3d version of this movie, but settled on this copy instead. I researched the internet and seen where this copy came with a digital copy, so I bought it since Best Buy had it on sale. I know that sometimes a digital copy will be in there even if they don't state it on the case. However, when I opened it up I found the review on target was a lie. This is only a blu ray disc. There are deleted scenes and more for bonuses. The movie has some really great and creative beasts. They story line is magical.

Having never seen/read any Harry Potter I wasn’t sure how this would be, but I found it fun and interesting even without the background. I really liked Eddie Redmayne’s performance. I also found the audio mix to be above par with a lot of movement around the room. The visuals were very appealing as well and the HDR made some of the magic even more magical.

I grew up reading the harry potter books so when I heard that theres a continuation of the story i was excited. Compared to the harry potter films, this movie follows more of the adults point of view in the real world instead of the wizard world. Tells more backstory before Harry Potters’ story begins. I would have enjoyed this movie even though i wasnt a harry potter fan.

Fantastic Beasts is a new (and much earlier) chapter in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter centered around a young wizard by the name of Newt Scamander who accidentally releases some of his fantastic beasts on 1920's New York. It's a fun ride and interesting spin-off with some small references to events and characters from the previous films. Overall, the story and characters are entertaining and the effects are top notch, but maybe not quite as magical as the original Harry Potter movies.
