Those interested in the Potter world will most likely be interested in this type of purchase. The movie itself, for many, doesn't have the same energy or feel as the first in this series but on its own simply is 'okay.' In terms of the disc(s), there is a reasonable difference in video between the BD and UHD. Audio quality is highly dependent on your home system. If you have a fairly good surround system, the audio is excellent for both BD and UHD. The streaming version is a bit limited and the video (4k) seems more like a contrasty BD disc but very nice. I'll simply say I am glad I completed the set so far and it is welcome in my movie library. My guess is at some time in 2023, it should be discounted. 5 on the disc and 4 on the movie itself.

Very well done. The story is excellent. The characters were really good. The 4K picture was excellent and the Dolby version and Dolby sound was the best.

Even though this is a long movie, I found The Secrets of Dumbledore entertaining throughout, with Mikkelson delivering a good performance in this magical world. However, Depp really owned this role and his absence is felt. The movie is a little drab and lacking in sparkle with video that doesn’t exactly thrill, but at least the audio helps push the movie along. I would have to agree with the many that it is time to either abandon the series or re-boot it with the original cast….and a good script. This movie is really only for fans of the series.

had hoped for better. stories getting too confusing to understand the first viewing. having to go back to prior movie & then re-watch, story & action not as good

I bought this movie a little while ago and the quality of the 4K is very good. I've watched it a few times and I also watched the movie at the theatre 2 times before buying this disk. Even though I liked this movie I still feel that the 1st movie in the series is the best. In my opinion Mads Mikkelsen makes a better and more believable Grindelwald than Johnny Depp. I liked this film better that the Crimes of Grindelwald, the 2nd movie in the series. Overall I think it's worth the money!

It is only good if you are already a fan of the franchise. The removal of Johnny Depp is felt.
