I'm not a wimp. I am former Police Officer and had FBI SWAT training. I enjoy playing these games with my young nephew online. I also have a female friend that loves them too. With all that said, there is so much unnecessary swearing, swearing, swearing, it distracts from the graphics and the storyline. In previous games there has always been a way to edit swearing out, but not in recent ones. I WILL NOT play this game with my favorite nephew or my female friend because, quite frankly, it totally offends me. Otherwise, the game is awesome and I love the challenges. But I am annoyed that I cannot and will not play it with younger kids. While I am sure they swear (just like I occasionally do as well), this just encourages it and makes it "okay." If you are an adult, enjoy it, it is fun. If you have kids or it is for your kids, DON'T.

Far Cry 3 is a fantastic open world game that lives up to its name. The voice acting is top notch, the world is huge and alive, doing all the different missions are a joy to do, as well as fantastic controls that feel natural to perform when you are fighting enemies. The graphics in this game are absolutely gorgeous! The environment interacts with the players actions and can generally surprise you in what happens next. The story is fantastic with a good amount of memorable missions and characters. I got this game when it was on sale for $30 and I wouldn't mind paying full price for it since I've spent countless hours on the game already. Get this game!

This was a great game but I was upset when I didn't get my 2 year warranty on my game and the up lay pass was invalid this is probly the last time I'm shopping at best buy

It's just an amazing game. I had never played any of the FarCry series before this one, and story wise you don't need to since it's a new, stand alone story. The story is great too, as you play a guy being thrust into a violent situation where he has to survive and adapt. I had heard it described as Skyrim with guns, and that's really accurate. You get to travel a beautiful landscape, avoid or hunt wildlife, take over camps by any way you see fit, and upgrade as you go to become an ultimate badass. I had played it once and had been craving it again, so that's why I bought it. If you've never played it, do yourself a favor and get it. I got it on a great $15 sale and it randomly does that so just keep an eye out. Enjoy!

Warning: lots of violence (stabbing in the back/neck for a "takedown") and some nudity. Those points aside, I highly recommend this game to mature players. The graphics are seriously amazing and the island you get to explore is massive. Unlock new weapons (or get them free in stores around the map) as you capture fortified bases and radio towers. This game was definitely worth the money! I beat the game on "Warrior" in about 30 hrs of play time, but someone could easily spend more time exploring/completing missions/collecting artifacts. Enjoy!

Loved playing the game because the story was just so well written . Its has a great plot and really good ending. The action is awesome and the graphics looks great on the xbox 360.

This is a great open world game with lots to do. The Multiplayer I find to be extremely fun and will keep you entertained when your not exploring the island and hunting sharks. I recommend this to anyone who like games like Skyrim and COD because is combines them perfectly. The map is huge and there are still alot of places that ive never seen before. This is a fun game and worth checking out for the right price.

THIS GAME IS 1 OF A FEW IN THIS SERIES. IT OFFERS GREAT GRAPHICS FOR FARCRY 3 AND I NEVER SEEN A GAME FOR XBOX THAT HAS HIGH ADVENTURING AND ALOT TO OFFER. BUY THIS GAME IF YOU LIKE ACTION AND FUN!

My kids think it's fun but feel it's really hard to figure out. They like the fact they can play multiple player. My sons do like the fact they can pick there own weapons.

I did not pay much attention when this game was released but upon viewing gameplay and reviews I became interested in quickly. I bought this game when it was an astonishing $20 and I have not regretted this decision. This game is an open world sandbox type of game which you can do side missions or just roam the tropical jungle shooting animals or killing pirates. The great thing I liked about this game is that you can free roam, upgrade your characters skills, and add different attachments to a bunch of guns. The bad thing is that it ended up getting a little repetitive and the dialogue with characters were a little off. Overall I highly recommend this game it was fun and I had a great time getting all the achievements for it.

I found this on sale after a friend recommended I get this game. Very glad that I did. I am about 4 hours into playing and it is a great open world game with challenges and exploration. The story has a heart felt tone to it and I can't wait to finish the story and get into the multiplayer!

Far cry is a great game. I guarantee you will enjoy everything this game has to offer.

If you want a single player off-line adventure similar to GTA but on a chaiin of jungle islands, and with a pretty good story premise, lots of missions, animal hunting, crafting of items and weapns, then this game is for you.

I got the game for my boyfriend and he loves it. He says it's like watching a movie you're a part of, which sounds cool. I have watched it a few times and the graphics are really great and the story is engaging.

Fun game, intriguing story, limited weapon selection, story mode is repeatative, a limited level up system that can be completed halfway through the game. Feels a lot like the older Mercenaries game franchise.

The graphics exceeded my expectations and the island map is HUGE. There is a lot of exploration available in this game and it is fun to go around collecting loot. The co-op gameplay if fantastic as well.

The game allows you to play at your own pace whether you enjoy playing the story line, taking on the side missions, or just exploring the islands. I am a fan of the series and this one pretty much nails it. FYI, the game is rated mature for a reason.

I like this game because of the open world gameplay. If there's a mission that I don't feel like doing right away I can do side missions. It's been able to keep my attention in story mode which is the mode I usually get bored of. I can't say the same for co-op because it seems like every time I go on I end up in the same game when there are supposedly many different co-op games. It's either not enough people use co-op or I'm doing something wrong, which in that case they should have made it easier to understand. It's an overall fun and adventurous game.
