I Love playing this game! Can't wait for Far Cry 4!

I love playing shooters games and this one in not an excepción and nice graphics

This was the first Farcry I have played and it is easily my new favorite game. I am a huge Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty fan, and this game essentially combines these two styles to create an amazing hybrid. Where to begin with this game? The graphics and storyline are fantastic, the map is enormous, there are lots of weapons, there are several extra side missions to do, hunting animals is awesome, and the music is great. The only thing I would change about this game is the ending, but that is it, everything else completely met my expectations. Needless to say, if you are a fan of sandbox/first-person shooter/adventure games, you will absolutely love this. I also thought it was interesting that this game has a resemblance to Heart of Darkness. The themes of this game are much deeper than they may appear and the storyline, though relatively short, is emotional and the characters are all well done each with different personalities. Get this game.

I have just recently finished the story to this game and I thought I would just write a small review saying that this is one of the finest fps games I have played. Definitely a top contender for shooter of the year. The visuals, especially the island, look amazing. The action is intense, varied, and extremely fun. There are so many options on how you tackle a situation. There are plenty of things to do on the island to raise your money and xp. The money can be spent on more powerful weapons(which there are plenty of) and the xp can be spent on upgrades and abilities for your character that really enhance the way the game is played. I will admit that I wasn't a huge fan of the FC2. It was fun at first but quickly became repetitive and boring due to many flaws in the game. Thankfully, FC3 contains none of these flaws. This is definitely the Far Cry that we have been wanting and I am incredibly excited to see where it goes from here.

Son thinks it's great. I don't necessarily think it's child appropriate or all that great but I'm also not the one playing the game. It was agood deal on Black Friday.

love it if it was only single player only multiplayer is lazy its same as any game has multiplayer

Far Cry 3.... Great... hands down, amazing. It opened with a good idea for the story. It through out the story was good. The gameplay was great, I can't recall getting super frustrated with a mission. The game is challenging to a degree, and just sucks you in. One review called it "Skyrim but with guns" well that is sort of true. My hands down first time best experience with any game has been 1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 2. Grand Theft Auto IV 3. Fallout: New Vegas This certainly ranks in the top 10, but not quite Skyrim great!!! What you get to do which I found was sick, is liberating these base camps. First Island they're lot more difficult, because of the dense forest it is hard to snipe people, and see from a distance. Hitting them up close without being detected is a pain. Island 2 I was capable of sniping out every single camp. I just looked for the best advantage point to lay the pirates out, and without a doubt you can liberate those ones without being seen. I managed almost all without being seen. Really fun Once you beat it, you can either end, or continue adventuring. I recommend you continue venturing. It's neat, finish side missions you set aside if you didn't do them all during the game. It's large so quite a bit to visit. The game has such beautiful scenic views. Super legit. I usually regret buying games at full retail, But I got this on sale for $50 plus tax. But It was worth every penny. The experience is great. Can't wait to replay it. I am giving it sometime before a replay. I want to get another fun experience out of it. So yeah worth full retail if the second playthrough is still fun!!!!! Just give it 3 to 6 months. That way you don't quite still remember everything you did the first round!!!

I dont know where to start because everything is great about this game and my hat goes off to Ubisoft, they did a great job with this. First off this game should not be played by children under 18 due to severe strong language. One thing that stands out for me is the sense of being part of the environment. You really feel like you are in the jungle where death could be over the hill or in the water. Oh!!! there are militia's out to kill you on sight. These guys are brutal and their AI is very impressive. Besides them you have wild dogs, komodo dragons, tigers, panthers, crocodiles, and even buffalos out to kill you just to name a few. Also impressive is the fact that all the animals and humans interact as if in real life. For example, the militias will attack tigers or dagons once they spot it. They even engage in gun fights with the rebels and at times i witness them executing innocent villagers. The game is very deep in terms of the area maps and missions to complete. You also have a good assortment of weapons which you can purchase or collect money while on missions. You can also customize the weapons. I bought the game two weeks ago and i still have not completed it yet. It is very entertaining and i will recommend it if you are into Assassins creed or any good adventure games.

A huge, beautiful and great, living world with many of things to do besides the very well executed missions. While Ubisoft tried to make their previous installment Far Cry 2 immersive it almost went controversy and a little too realistic. Jamming guns, a lack of hud mode and an overall lack of gameplay features drive you away from the experience. In Far Cry 3, things have changed. With the new introduced RPG elements, abilities to craft and the ability to use stealth against your enemies, it actually became lots of fun to travel instead of frustrating. Far Cry 3 offers us what the openworld genre is supposed to offer, while the previous installment was good, it lacked many things that other openworld games had to offer. Besides the addictive singleplayer campaign, there's also a little uninspired, but yet so fun multiplayer with a huge map editor

From what I have played so far, the game is really fun to waste time in. The story may not be that great, but the missions are generally fun and sometimes even challenging. As you progress further and further down the story, Jason Brody, your character, starts to get crazier and crazier. At first he hesitates killing pirates but near the end, it engulfs him and he becomes more brutal in how he kills his enemies. By the end, Jason will stop at nothing to kill those who have hurt him.

Far Cry 3 has to be the best story mode I've played in some time, not only does it look amazing, it's legit fun to play, & keeps you actually interested in the story line which most games lack now days, only problem I have with it is the multiplayer is the same old first shooter stuff every game has now so that's lame & this game has no replay value once you've beaten single player & finished all the side missions.

So. I was pretty eh about getting this game, due to the fact that I have never played the first or second. Now before I start, this game should definitely not be played by anyone whose parents are strict about language or nudity. After watching a few videos about it, I decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. Fun and easy crafting for upgrading, awesome weapons with a few attachments, bow and arrow (that's REALLY fun). Along with multiple enemies always trying to gun you down, you have to worry about your position, if you're in an environment with rabid dogs, or murky waters infested with crocodiles. Literally everywhere you turn can be a new threat. Fantastic game. 5/5

Ok. First Off Like Nothing Ever Seen In A Video Game. Awsome.. Journey Into The Heart Of Insanity.. The Island Is Just Huge.. So Much 2 Do.!! It's Kill Or Be Killed.. This is my first experience with the Far Cry series, and I'm greatly enjoying it. Its a great game with TONS to do. From the main quest to the side adventures, you'll always be busy. A few helpful tips are as follows. First off, you always have to watch your back. Enemies are numerous and always around. Stealth and your ability to sneak, are your best assets. So, get familiar with your bow & arrows. Secondly, be sure to check out your cyber surroundings. Spending time harvesting the wildlife and plantlife in the game will prove extremely beneficial when you want larger loot rucksacks, medicines, etc. Thirdly, this isn't a game for kids. Tons of violence and language for the appropriate audiences. Lastly, as for the online element, I can't say. I have yet to try the online features, because I've enjoyed the Singleplayer gameplay so much. Which, speaks volumes about this game. Because, I would consider myself more of an online player. Overall, I highly recommend this game to any gamer, of appropriate age.

Its an awesome game. But beware of the snakes in grass or anywhere. One bite and you are dead.

Never been into the Far Cry games but after seeing some reviews I decided to get it. This game is great!!!!!! Other developers need to follow this team that made this awesome game especially EA/Madden. No game is perfect but this game could be game of the year. I love it.

Single Player: 9/10 On the first island the campain is very challenging and so are side missions. However as I progressed onto the second island it got just a little easier, but thats probably due to the fact that I had all signature weapons. I say its the best Story plot of 2012 Collectables: 10/10 Far Cry 3 has three different types of collectables; relics, memory cards and lost letters Relics: Hard to find without maps because almost all 128 of them are scattered in hard to reach place . Lost Letters: Quite easy to find because they're usually in Japanese/Chinese ruin Memory Cards: Usually in strongholds Side Missions: 8/10 Far Cry 3 has multiple side missions and activities including: Car and boat racing, Hunting Quests (for crafting material), and Mini-games Multiplayer: 6/10 Multiplayer is just standard FPS multiplayer However a map editor can easily make-up for it. Overall: Far Cry 3 is one of those unknown beauties. It is worth what you pay.

I'm not a typical gamer, more of find a game I rly like & stick to it. The open world play of this game is great. To me the game is kind of hard, but like I said I don't play games that much. Great graphics & good story line. Online play could be better, it's a little confusing to find rooms.
