If you played Far Cry 3 then this game will not be a brand new experience. It is very similar to Far Cry 3 in game play and has a similar story (travel to third world country where a war is going on between two factions and there is a crazy leader). The main differences that I have seen so far are you can fly a mini helicopter from the beginning if you find one, which makes traveling easier. Other than that the game is the same as far cry 3, but with different guns, skills, and animals. If you are looking for a next-gen adventure shooter then this is the game to buy. If you are looking for something that has a more RPG feel to it then look else where. In this game you play as a guy traveling to the area to return the ashes of his mother to her homeland. Instead you join a resistance movement against a psychopath. I felt that the player should start out being an inexperienced shooter, meaning he can't have the best accuracy until he reaches a certain level of proficiency. It just doesn't feel right for someone who probably never shot a gun to have perfect aim with every weapon. Also I don't like how quickly you can get access to the best weapons in the game. I was able to buy the best bow in the game within an hour of gameplay due to to it being quickly unlock able and how fast and easy it is to get money.

The game is great. It allows you to explore at will, hunt, do missions, drive around, fly, glide, etc. It has co-op that is unlocked after a few missions are completed so you can play with a friend. I really enjoy it and recommend it. It will take some time to do everything in the game so well worth the cost.

Wonderful graphics and a great shooter. The story line was good as well. All around great game for the price.

Gameplay wise it's a lot like the previous game. Big open world with plenty to do. The story is not as good as you would expect with the epic opening scene but not bad either. All the characters are interesting and fairly unique, specifically Pagan Min. Solid voice acting all around. Takes about 50 hours to complete everything.

Far Cry 4 expands on the free roaming play style and fixes everything that was lacking or broke in previous iterations. If you like open world first person games then this game is for you. You have loads of things you can do and the world you explore is huge!

I had heard increasingly good things about the Far Cry series but never played one of the titles until Far Cry 4 for Xbox One. I've heard it can be more of the same for those that played Far Cry 3, but for someone new to the series I really enjoyed it. You can really spend as much time as you want with the game, and I would guess a completionist would have to log a lot of hours to collect all of the items scattered throughout the map. The side quests have enough variety that they remain fun longer than I expected, but other things like overtaking outposts get repetitive when you do it two dozen times. In my first 5 hours with the game, I think I may have done two story related missions, and the rest of the time I roamed the map hunting and liberating radio towers. I'd say the game has a great foundation, and past that it's what you choose to make of it.

There are a ton of shooter games out there but Fry Cry stands out from the rest with the graphics, gameplay and story. Tons of fun, exploring, shooting, animals and best yet, you can get the season pass to add more fun and excitement.

It's a cool game (violent though), but I thought it was a bit frustrating to keep dying, especially since it's hard to kill the animals. Too much effort: for example, it took a lot of arrows and accuracy to kill the wolves. I love the setting and graphics. Very entertaining.

In the first person shooter genre, Far Cry has always stood out as unique. The games graphics are quite impressive. The mechanics are quite polished, and have just gotten better with every title. The story is also fairly entertaining and well written. Overall the game is great.

If you liked Far Cry 3 you will love this game. Everything is pretty much the same but new location new weapons, new side missions, new animals ect. I have clocked in about 15 hours and I am only 35% though the game. If you like running around like rambo killing enemies or charging at a group of enemies while riding an elephant shooting an RPG this game is for you. The map is huge so there is going to be around 60+ hours to get 100% completion. The graphics are amazing. Co-Op is also a helpfull thing that they added.

Farcry 4 is a great open sandbox game. Progressing through the main story won't take you a long time, but doing all the side missions and finding all collectibles will keep you busy. If you are a Farcry fan, or new to the series, this game is definitely worth a playthrough.

Warning!! You will become lost in the world of Kyrat. The open world is huge and so many different places to explore. Definitely got my money's worth and am not even halfway through the game. Extremely impressive graphics.

Like Far Cry 3, but better. If you liked 3, you'll like this even more. Mechanics are relatively unchanged. The signature weapons are very cool. The characters are great but the story leaves a lot to be desired.

This game was a total satire of the main stream first person shooter. It makes fun of itself the entire time without taking away from the story. I loved the quirkiness of the plot as well as the open world feel.

If you enjoyed Far Cry 1,2, or 3 you will love Far Cry 4, it is a very polished version of the previous games. It is very easy to control your character and your items. Great story and missions, fun weapons.

i like this game so much I bought it on two consoles. Using the bow to hunt animals and craft upgrades is so much fun and the story is just good enough to make sense but not amazing. Hours and hours of fun

Great graphics, good storyline, kept me entertained and the open world was huge! Also in the beginning of the game if you actually wait 15 minutes for the guy to come back you get a different outcome!

The title of this review says it all. Open world play, over the top action and great game controls means you'll spend a lot of time blowing things up and having a blast (pun intended) yourself.

This is a great game and the open world is huge. The kids kept fighting over the game leaving their other games aside. I had to purchased a second one to keep the peace. Would recommend highly

I love everything you can do in this game! I love the open world map and getting around is a lot of fun! I love how you can make choices that affect the overall game play! Amazing graphics!
