game loaded fast updates wear not that large the graphics are amazing in this game easy to understand story plot easy to control game , i need to get back on this game to complete it

This is a good fun game with lots to do in it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the looong load times. None of my other Xbox One games take this long. Other than that I really like this game. Great graphics too.

Game combines a good first person shooter with the ability to explore your surroundings while completing as many quests as you choose to accept. Love the game-keeps me engaged!

Definitely a vast, beautiful and aurally awesome game, but it suffers from too many things to do, especially when you must engage in a significant chunk of "optional" side quests to scrape by in single player campaign missions. More like an RPG than an open world sandbox, you must grind through freeing outposts, helping random folks on the side of the road and hunting animals to beef up your character if you want a chance to survive main missions. And at times, all the chaos going on in this incredible landscape becomes too distracting when you're just trying to go from point A to point B for a specific mission. Oh no, an eagle is randomly attacking! The army happened to drive by and is shooting at you! The outpost you just freed is now being taken back over just seconds later! It borders on the ridiculous and constantly disrupts the flow. Further, the control scheme is endlessly complicated-- you will use every button on the controller-- and not intuitively laid out. Does the d-pad throw a grenade or send a message? How do you throw bait? The game only tells you once, and you're likely to forget. The game's also obtuse in certain campaign missions, like one where you're supposed to keep a poppy field from being lit on fire by terrorists. You're only given those instructions, so you head to the sprinklers in the middle of the field, but no, the switch isn't there. The fields will be completely ablaze as you frantically run around, not realizing you have to follow a water pipe from the sprinklers to a switch box outside the boundary of the fields. And this is one of dozens of examples. But perhaps the worst error is the online co-op for campaign missions. Sure, you can drop into a friend's game, or a friend can drop into yours, or a random stranger can abruptly join without warning (you can play the campaign mode with all online play, friend or stranger, disabled), but once that connection is made, you can no longer proceed down the campaign missions. The only thing you and your friend can do is grind through the "optional" side stuff. You can carry back over experience, skills and inventory to your single player game while doing this, but if you're in the sidekick role, any bell tower map-expanding missions apply only for whoever was playing as the lead character: you've got nothing in your own. Once again, something that should contribute to the game ends up actually disrupting regular progress for both players and their enjoyment. Perhaps more insulting is Ubi's marketing labeled this as "redefining online co-op;" perhaps instead it should have been called "crippling online co-op." If you want a solid online co-op campaign game, you'll have to stick with Halo, Dead Rising 3 or even Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris. I got this game primarily for online co-op, and I definitely have buyer's remorse.

Far cry has become one of my favorite franchises it's huge open world it free form combat. It's graphics this game looks amazing I would recommend to any fan of fps's

This game has a great open world story, ai, and multiplayer. Graphics are amazing with gorgeous landscapes and voice acting is also great. Definitely a must buy

If you were a fan of Far Cry 3, then purchasing Far Cry 4 is a MUST! The gameplay is very similar to that of FC3, with added bits of activities to complete for variety. You will thank the creators for the gyro-copter, as mountains are a bit annoying to traverse (even with fast travel). The Arena and community map making are welcome addictions, even while retaining the FC3 "feel". Elephants will become your new best friend. No, your thoughts of not wanting elephants are wrong. Once you have experiences warfare on a living tank, it's hard to remember why you hated elephants in the first place.

I expected this game to feel like Fallout and give me my fill until Fallout 4. This really felt a lot more like Skyrim. Not quite as thorough, but great graphics and aa solid story. Highly recommend!

this game is tons of fun, got to ride an elephant and destroy cars, hunt tigers, bears, and many other animals, plays really smooth and tons of side missions.

Far Cry 4 is the latest in a series that keeps getting bigger. This time you join freedom fighters that are trying to overthrow a warlord in the Himalayas. The game is huge, I spent many hours exploring, taking propaganda towers and hunting to upgrade my gear before I even got into the meat of the game. I loved the Gyro Copter for traveling much faster than Far Cry 3. When you do get into the full game I enjoyed listening to the main bad guy Pagan Min's commentary a lot as the story progressed. After completing it I can say it was an awesome experience and you should really pick it up!

Far Cry 4 is a great game and has great story line and graphics. I found a few glitches but overall the game is worth the money and will keep you entertained.

Great game with a giant open world to explore and discover. Very rewarding once you beat the Campaign. Side missions give you a ton of game play and it individualizes based on your decisions.

I have owned the Far Cry series for the the Xbox 360. So I wanted to get it for the Xbox One. The graphics are great and has a good story line.

This games is amazing because of the way they did the graphics and the free roam, also the vehicles they have on it and so many choices of weapons

Far Cry 4 is def an amazing open world game with endless possibilities for a great adventure. Truly a breathtaking game with it's amazing landscapes and story dynamic. A definitely a buy

Decent story, good gameplay for the most part. However it has odd issues that the PC version does not have. If you have the ability to, play it on the PC vs the console.

This game has a cool story, great graphics and is now super cheap so that alone makes this a must own if you dont have it already.

If you have never played this franchise before, now it's the time! Great story, graphics and gameplay...! You won't be dissapointed!

The game is awesome, open world to discover, fighting and hunting challenges. If you liked Far Cry 3, you will like Far Cry 4 too. This is a game that you will not finish in a couple of hours, there is so much to explore and discover. The only reason of giving it only 4 stars is that the story, while being compelling, doesn't make you feel as engaged to the characters as the one on Far Cry 3. Don't get me wrong, the story is great, it's just that the one on Far Cry 3 got the bar way high. Would I recommend the game? Definitely, I have put more than 40 hours and I'm barely around half the story.
