This game is fun if you want more of what Far Cry is. Aside from that, there's nothing new to write home about. The map is the same as Far Cry 5 (which the developer was honest about). Similar funny glitches will occur. However, the AI seems less intelligent than Far Cry 5, the sound was dumbed down from Far Cry 5, and animals that would leave you alone if you stayed away from them now provoke you directly in this game. More than once have I been playing co-op trying to liberate an outpost and while I'm using binoculars, me or my friend would get attacked by a bear or wolf pack. Really bizarre and frustrating.

Far Cry New Dawn isn't bad, but it lacks the spark of most of the other games in the series. If you are a fan of the series you'll probably like it, but there are plenty of other more enjoyable games out there.

This game has been a lot of fun. It has an interesting story, nice open world game, and cool side missions. You can put anywhere from 30-60 hours into this seemingly.

This is another great addition to the Far Cry series. I thought this was a really novel idea when I first heard about it. I mistakenly thought this would be like Fallout with the Far Cry engine which is not a bad thing. However, the land is not nearly as impacted in New Dawn as it is in the Fallout games. Different colored flora and animals. I haven't found any scary mutations to speak of yet. Just more bad guys like every other Far Cry game. So I guess I was expecting some super mutants of some kind. It is nice to have the interaction with NPCs that was taken out of Fallout 76. Another great Far Cry game.

This game is great because its not a stand alone game from Far Cry series, rather it makes you play the previous in order to understand the story before you start with this one and this one by itself is good too.

This game is an awesome quasi sequel to far cry 5 set in the same world but post apocalyptic. Same great far cry gameplay and graphics you would come to expect which is stellar. So much to do in this open world

This game is SO cool! The story, the graphics, the only thing I don’t like is that it’s first person. Makes me seasick sometimes.

Despite mixing up the gameplay, the expanded story after the events of Far Cry 5 is is appreciated. Worth the value at where it’s priced. Nowadays you can get this a sale price. Give this a look.

If you have a 4k TV with HDR this will look pretty. Story seems good so far. About half way done. I love the way ladders are handled in Far Cry games.

Far Cry New Dawn is a blast and a fun way to re-engage with Hope County. The colors and transformed landscape are stunning, and it is of little consequence to me if this would be a realistic post-apocalyptic landscape; Far Cry has never been about ultra-realism and has been more about creating havoc and accomplishing missions in a fully realized world, which is what this is. It feels like a more realized and expanded DLC that allows you to play with new (and some old) characters in a new way, filled with some of the humor and playfulness of the Far Cry 5.

I have personally been enjoying it. I played through Farcry 5 to just about 100% completion and loved it. New Dawn is soort of like a really big DLC, but it does hold it's own as a full game fir the most part. The lower price honestly makes it worth it. It is a sequal, so having the same map isnt that ridiculous, because you can venture through the ruins of old Hope county and revisit iconic locations, which is kinda cool. I like it, for the price. It's fun.

I've been going through this game and having a blast. It's not super hard but plenty challenging if you want to 100% everything. Can't wait to see what they bring out next.

I have been playing this with a friend and the story is very basic and the enemy often doesn't make sense when it comes to the plot. But you can not beat the amount of fun you can have in this game with a friend. If you played Far Cry 5, you know what you're getting with that post apocalyptic sheen over it. Chaos easily ramps up and the it is challenging without being insane... which co-op. So if you got a buddy who like explosions or stealth as much as you do. Pick up a copy for each of you and have a blast!

Quite frankly I am writing this review only because I bought this game and I want the 25 points that you get for writing a review. As far as the game itself is concerned I didn't play it for very long (an hour or two) after buying it because I was busy playing another game and didn't think that I would have enough time to play this one. So I traded this in. Having said that, I liked whatever I did see while playing. I do intend to buy it again and play it more. Far Cry is one of the very few Ubisoft franchises left that I like.

If you like the Far Cry games then you will like this one. It’s got an engaging story and lots of stuff to do. You can play any way you want with all types of weapons. Play alone or use one of your hired hands. They all use different weapons so you can call on the one that best fits the situation. I personally like the dog as he tags enemies. Super fun game!
