I am a far cry fan and I purchased this game without reading any reviews. They had a great concept but did not give far cry primal its own identity. Most of the game is just repetition of previous far cry games. The graphics are not really amazing either at some mission or places the game graphics looks really bad. I like open world games if I have some sort of vehicle to travel across the world a little quicker.

Have loved the Far Cry Series and this one holds its own! It's very brutal and unforgiving at times, which makes it great! Love being the Beast master!

This game, overall, was VERY entertaining. Story was decent, but most of the fun of the game revolves around awesome combat mechanics and all the interactions you can have with the landscape. I mean, how can you not have an awesome time when you're RIDING AROUND ON A FREAKING SABERTOOTH TIGER THAT YOU JUST TAMED? Graphics are beautiful, and cinematics are endearingly weird. Two complaints. First, quests are a bit formulaic. I know this is kind of the case with any RPG side quest, but there were pretty much 3 different types of side quest that followed the same pattern. This left me with little motivation to continue doing them once I had mostly maxed out my skill trees and crafting. This leads to the second thing: after you beat the last couple of bosses, I didn't find much need to pick up the controller again. Although it's awesome to keep roaming around annihilating warring tribesman (which you do near the end, because you become quite OP), other games called and I decided to answer. Overall, I recommend this game, but the content outside of the main story is just a bit uninspired without being a dealbreaker by any means. Enjoy!

Initially bought this game because of the trailer and some ganeplay I watched in youtube but I have to say that this games was one of the rare instances when the game delivers when compared to the promos. Map is huge and if you like having the best weapons and gear, then you have tons of work ahead of you.

Always been a fan of the Far Cry series, but I was cautious about this game because of the change in setting and how the gameplay would hold up. Well it was worth purchasing. The setting is great so is the soundtrack. Story is ok but the gameplay is pretty frantic and you really have to try and survive out there since its you and hundreds of animals and other rival tribes.

Great game, nice change of pace from FPS, and not having any guns is a nice change. Huge open world, to collect, hunt, side quests, missions, etc.

Purchased the game for my son and he really enjoyed the game, especially hunting down the animals with the primitive weapons.

Having tons of fun taming animalsx collecting materials and uniting the tribes! Would recommend for cool dudes and dudettes.

The game is great, it's my first time playing the Far Cry series and I like the controls/gameplay. It is very repetitive though, just going from camp to camp, always killing the same group of 2 or 4 Udam while going from point A to point B. Overall, the game is enjoyable but I can see it losing the appeal very quickly.

This game is AWESOME. The graphics, the scenery are VERY spectacular. The techniques and training of the animals are one of a kind as well !

This was my very first Far Cry I played and thought it was nice to see a FPS do something different and unique for once.

The game is different from the rest of the series but has its own fun twist. The biggest bonus is all the animals you get to tame and have!

Far Cry Primal is a good game. Although sometimes the maneuvering could be a bit difficult, its a good game to play.

Great game that felt like a total package type of game with lots to do, a story, and fun game play. Platinum trophy for me.

Amazing graphics, gameplay takes a little getting used to but once you get going it starts telling a great story

I think Far Cry Primal is one of the best PS4 games I played all year long this year in 2016. The graphics are great on this game.
