This is an excellent adaptation of Thomas Hardy's novel. The acting is great across the board but the two leads are especially convincing. The tone and pacing fits the period, and overall is worth seeking out.

This isn't a story with over dramatic romanticism. It's about realizing you've found an equal partner that is confident in himself to not over power your independence.

Nice movie, a little boring. Looks good though. Came with slipcover and Digital HD works with iTunes, UV, or Google Play.
