This is another great Spencer Tracy comedy with an excellent supporting cast of Joan Bennett & a young Elizabeth Taylor.
Tracy is perfect as the doting & worried father who us apprehensive about his daughter’s (Taylor) wedding. The scenes where he tries on his old tux he is determined to wear for the wedding & his nightmare scene is hysterical!
Joan Bennett is perfect with her wry humor as the mother trying to keep things calm & running smoothly during the wedding preparations. And Taylor is absolutely beautiful & charming in this role that she played when she was only 18 years old.
Another good family film.
