The micro cuts are easy to dispose of and obviously protect the security of the shredded documents. The only negative is that Fellowes doesn't provide even a sample of "shredder oil". You have to get that separately and keeps the shredder working well.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Fellowes AutoMax 100MA 100-Sheet Micro-Cut Shredder for several months, and overall it’s a solid machine. It does a great job on shredding documents, including staples and paper clips, and the micro-cut level gives you real confidence that sensitive information is gone for good. The automatic feed works smoothly and makes it easy to tackle big stacks without babysitting the shredder. The biggest downside for me was the size. The waste bin fills up quickly, so I ended up emptying it far more often than I expected, especially during heavier use. For occasional home shredding it’s fine, but if you’re working through larger piles of paperwork regularly you’ll probably want something with a bigger bin. In short, it’s dependable and performs well, just a bit small for more demanding shredding needs.
