Works like a charm, but doesn't have a very large bin. Have to empty it often. And compared to my old Fellowes shredder it is very loud. Can only use during the day as my neighbors complain about it (I live in a condo).

I researched for several hours looking for a shredder that would fit my needs. I had several paperbag loads of personal documents that needed to be destroyed. After my research, I found that if you want one that will do the job securely and quickly, look for one that will shred more than 5 documents at a time and how many feet per second it will feed. This one is the best I could find under $100. It is well worth the money. It took care of all of my documents in under and hour or less. But, be very sure you buy the shredder oil or you will dull the blades and ruin your shredder. The oil is a must for this type of shredding. Highly recommend this shredder for home and small business use.

This is far the best shredder we have purchased. My husband had so many old papers and old mail that had piled up after our old shredder died he couldn't wait for me to purchase a new shredder. He was very impressed with this shredder and also commented on how it was not a noisy shredder either.

Love this shredder...it does a great job, and has an outside pocket to throw non-shred items in. Only drawback I have is that it is extremely loud! My pets go flying when I use it...so I put it in the garage where they wont be bothered!

Very pleased with my Fellowes Power Shredder. I am no longer going to Fed Ex Office to pay to have my documents shredded cause the Fellowes Power Shredder takes care of it all. No jamming and great clean cut shred.

I purchased this shredder to replace an older Fellowes model that died on me after 9 faithful years. I like that they added a handle to lift the shredder top because it's quite heavy. I prefer my older model but this is a comparable replacement. It's a bit loud but it does a great job shredding.

I had a huge bag of items that needed shredding that I had put off. This shredder handled it all in about 1 hour. At one point it seemed to overheat and I did have to wait for it to cool down before I used it again. After that it worked flawlessly once again. I would recommend this shredder.

Purchased this to replace a broken one. This is a much better unit compared to others in the same price range. Fast and cuts through most anything. Some say it is a little noisy but I think it is about the same as my other units. Overall a good product.

Excellent shredder. I've used it about a month so far with no problems whatsoever. Cuts through everything with ease. I upgraded from a smaller strip shredder. My other would jam all the time and overheat. None of those issues with my new one.

I love it. It shreds great--even credit cards. I don't overload it past suggested capacity and I've had no problems. It's easy to use too. I especially like the lock feature.

Nice shredder but the switches are a little too flimsy for the price of this item... so just be gentle... if you are thinking about public use in an office environment don't get this one... the switching has to be done very mindfully and not sloppy... but it really does excellently shredding... really well and very powerful... staples, thin paperclips and thick paperclips just get chewed up... sounds really loud when you hit those thick paperclips and both of us laugh... so far it has worked better than expected... if you are not disappointed by the initial "oh crap this is flimsy" because of the switches, you will have an awesome shredder... easy to empty too... btw, best to empty about 3/4 full... just our experience... mahalo

Its reasonably priced. We have only had it for a month or so, and I cannot comment yet on its durability, but so far so good. The one we replaced was Royal, and it lasted for approx. 5 years before it stopped working. I take a lot of the responsibility for this, it was really overworked. These shredders aren't designed for long sessions of shredding at one time. In other words allowing to much to be shredded build up Its much easier on the machine, and time saving to do the little bit daily. Its a good idea to use an oil sheet once a month to keep it working smoothly. We chose Fellows because we heard so many good things about their products. For the typical household this is a perfect size shredder.

Great for a home, personal use unit. Easy to use, does not jam easily and allows you to process multiple sheets at the same time You need to be careful when emptying to replace the top just right or it will not start

This is another very good product from Fellows. It does what it's supposed to do and a good speed. Shreds several sheets of paper at the same time easily. Auto feature is great. Only con is it's noisy.

replaced an older desktop we eventually killed from over use. We keep this shredder on the desk in the kitchen so that it is easily available to shred anything that should be shredded. (And we are aggressive about that) This one is not that load and despite regularly putting too much in at once I have only jammed it once, The lid is a bit heavy, but it has a handle . Do wish it was a bit quieter, although it is not as noisy as others I have at the office and is quieter than the one it replaced.

The right size for at home. Has the features that we need. Shreds very fine, can back up, does credit and used gift cards.

It has great power for doing up to 7 sheets. No issues with over heating or tearing up 110lb card stock (2 sheets tops) Over all great product, trash bin fills up quick. Tip: don't let the shreds pile up to the very top because the shredder itself starts to back feed since it's not able to push the shredded paper away. This will cause paper jams.

I don't shred often, but when I do it's usually about a banker's box full. I am not abusive and never push a shredder beyond manufacturer specs, but I bought and returned 3 other shredders all of the same price point and specifications, because they failed, before I found this one. It runs longer than the manufacturer states and chews up a stack of 10 pages, staples and all, into tiny bits without any problem. Finally, a shredder that can do the job.

This is my second shredder; bought this one to replace the first which had run its course. The shredder is perfect for home use; a bit noisy but performs well

It's fast, powerful, and easy to empty.. Everything I needed. Totally recommend it. It is a bit noisy, but I guess that is to be expected of shredder.
