Customers appreciate the fun and engaging gameplay, finding the job system and variety of classes to be enjoyable aspects of Final Fantasy Explorers. However, some feel the story is lacking and the game can become repetitive, particularly when playing solo. The game's difficulty may also be a factor for some players.

I bought this game because I love the Final Fantasy franchise and I read the reviews and it seemed like something I would like to play. I play Moster Hunter on the 3DS as well and it has the same feel. The game is less complex but fun none the less.

This plays a lot like a simplified monster hunter. Not quite the same but still fun.

Close to beating the game and went pretty far. I can say this- its fun run around beating up monsters to make money and gather materials on the quests, I say its a good game to play.

This is a fantastic game for both fans of the Final Fantasy series and MMORPGs. It has a complex job system as well as a great mutation mechanic which puts a unique spin on spells and abilities as they're used. I highly recommend it.

A good, fun game to play if you have a few friends on your Nintendo DS to play with. It can be frustrating to complete quests with random people online as it times time to match up with someone who wants to do the same quest as you. There is limited phrases to use to "talk" with one another, but you can preset phrases offline to use online. It is addicting if you like the grind.

The game really shines when you're playing with friends. The story is pretty much non-existent.
It's a decent game, but it's just a grind fest. The thing that sticks out most is that it's got the Final Fantasy mythos.
Overall it's not super special, but if you want to grind with friends, this is for you.

Good co-op functionality for 3DS, ok job system/character skill setup but everything moves to mob grinding for materials to be used in equipment builds/upgrades ~8 hours into the game already. You play the same areas and even bosses for different micro jobs that yield new mats with little to no story...

Its like monsterhunter combined with elements of final fantasy. A little disappointed with the graphics but the overall game play is very customizable. Also, the armors are fun to collect!

Very Long, exploratory video game. Much fun for Final Fantasy Enthusiasts.
Gameplay demos were a little misleading- you wont be able to play as your favorite character 100% of the time.

If you are looking for a Final Fantasy Experience with a great story this is not it. It is fun and easy to play, but it can get repetitive after a long period. Basically, this game is just a big side quest where your task is to kill monsters.

This game has endless quests and any final fantasy fan will love the nods to older games and characters. If you played final Fantasy XI you will feel right at home!
