Customers appreciate the fun and engaging gameplay, finding the job system and variety of classes to be enjoyable aspects of Final Fantasy Explorers. However, some feel the story is lacking and the game can become repetitive, particularly when playing solo. The game's difficulty may also be a factor for some players.

If you played the monster hunter games you know what this game will be. Has a neat monster catching system to go along with it, but it doesn't feel very fun.
I DO NOT ENJOY MONSTER HUNTER GAMES - IF YOU ENJOY THOSE GAMES YOU WILL PROBABLY LOVE THIS.
I still LIKE it despite not liking the monster hunter games.

Final Fantasy meets Monster Hunter
- Variety of Job and gear
- Decent size maps to explore
- Servers are stable
- Easy to find groups
- Combat is fluid
A nice touch of Monster Hunter mechanics in a Final Fantasy world.

I like the fact that I can play alone if I want. After you get a little ways into it you can create a team of monsters with the right material. As for co-op you can play locally with friends or online with anyone.

If you love monster hunter, then you will like Final Fantasy Explorers. It has a very cute platform where all the characters are in chibi form. Also, there are quests upon quests so you can never get bored!

Bought this for me and my girlfriend. Wanted something like monster hunter but less difficult. Combat is less difficult but skills and crafting keep me entertained. Would highly recommend as a co op game.

Final fantasy gamers will like this for a while, but in order to advance the "story" you need to perform specific tasks. After some time the tasks are repetitive and don't feel worth your time. Should be a nice game to pick up used somewhere... for cheap.

It's a pretty simple game. There are a few quirks to it, but overall I really enjoyed my play through. I played with my wife, and if you want to get it for the co op it really is fun.

This game tried so hard to be good but ended up failing in the end. It wanted to be monster hunter but it just didn't work. The final fantasy series is great but this is one you should skip out on.

Unfortunately they really missed the mark with this one. While it can be a fun way to kill a few hours the game is remarkably simple, lacking in challenge(until post game), and just doesn't have any of the charm or love that would make it a winner.

It's no Monster Hunter but the addition of classic Final Fantasy job archetypes adds flavor that helps this title provide something that Monster Hunter generally lacks.
