What I consider the best game in the series has gotten even better. If you've never played this, do it now! If you have, relive it all over again.

The last Great Final Fantasy Game

Ok first before anyone yells at me, you can not find a fan that loves this series more then me.. as much maybe, but not more. and I say the last great FF game was because it was Turn Based, which most of us fans still prefer, where as you have XV which I loved and would give it a perfect score as well.. it still didn't have the Final Fantasy feel that X did.. and let's just pretend (like most people) that X-2 doesn't exist, I own it because I'm a deranged fan that can't allow myself to miss a FF installment including the online ones..
But this game has great graphics , one of my favorite songs in a game ever, and the story was just great, that's why I hate X-2 it , ruins all that was great about the first one, in order to know the true insult you'll just have to play it and find out for yourself I can't bring myself to bash what I love. it's good that they come together otherwise this would be a different tone.

Although not much has changed, it was worth it to be able to play a game I was so fond of growing up again without having to dig out an old system.

This one brought me back to my PS2 days. While a remake would have been better, the remaster allowed me to play one of my old favorites again.

This is one of the best Final Fantasy games in the series. It has fun combat great story and at time it pulls at the heart strings everything that made it such a great game is still there and more. For old players and someone looking to try a final fantasy game for the first time this a great starting place

Merged with the International editions of the game, Final Fantasy X/X-2 provides a solid and emotionally powerful story about love, adventure, death, and loss. While the theme of death and rebirth is common to many Final Fantasy games, FFX seems to take this theme to the next level and then some. As you play, pay close attention to the environment and see constant reminders of death. By the game’s end, you’ll come to agree FFX is probably the most morbid Final Fantasy game in the series.
It’s direct sequel, a first of its kind in the series, FFX-2 is a lighthearted adventure that blends the J-pop and Kawaii culture styles popular in Japan with a Charlie’s Angels feel to the three main characters; Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. Where FFX revolved around death, its sequel flourishes with life and lively expressions of jovial silliness against a world that is picking up the social and political changes following the end of the first game. While the scope is small, the flow of the story is not and there is a lot to do.

Final Fantasy X has always been one of my favorite games. The story and gameplay still hold up pretty well today. The PS4 version offers the ability to play the remastered soundtrack or the original if that's what you prefer. It also offers enhanced graphics. A must own for fans of the game!

2 Epic Stories, 1 Price

How can I not recommend this epic set? You have FFX which still remains an extremely good title in the series. Not to mention it has some of the coolest music. Zanakard anyone? Then there's X-2, one of the super rare direct sequels to a mainline Final Fantasy title.
Please note, these use the Sphere system. It's not the standard, level up and unlock skills. You have to choose what skills to unlock by using spheres dropped by enemies. It can be a grind to get the right spheres for a specific skill. So be prepared.
The upscale just looks amazing. Granted, they were originally somewhere near the end of the PS2 so they were already good looking. The PS4 upscale just makes it better.
For the low price, you're getting you're money's worth. Both main stories can reach into the 70+ hrs range. That's not including all the side quests, mini games, and secrets you can find.
So if you need something to keep you occupied for a long, long time, this is a pretty good option. Especially at this low a price.

While not much different from the ones put on Playstation 3, this particular version does run in 1080p at 60fps. Not really a big deal though. Some I am sure would argue with that, but that is a different story entirely.
If you have not played these games yet, you get something a little extra with this release as all the content from the International versions has been added. If you are unfamiliar with the final mixes and second releases done for some Square Enix titles in Japan, we tend to get extra content in the US releases. So in Japan they take the US release and add a little more content while keeping the English VAs and release a second edition in Japan. Now they can just use DLC instead of releasing another copy, but that was not always the case.
I feel like any Final Fantasy game, or really any RPG, kind of requires you to personally try it and make your own decisions about it. While some things I dislike about both titles, I enjoy both games. Not a fan of Tidus screaming and not a fan of how you change job classes in X2, but I have beaten both games multiple times and consider them classics.
