I already owned this expansion and I bought this for my fiancé. I definitely recommend this to anyone who already plays Final Fantasy XIV. This expansion continues the main storyline, introduces new maps, minions, mounts, and more. I love the dragons and their story.

For a newly released game, purchased 2 weeks after release, I thought more data would be included on the disk with less patching needed to get the game up to speed. BestBuy on their end are great about carrying this, and a good price, too. Despite this, 2 days later my data is patched and my game playable and I am enjoying it very much!

If you're a fan of the final fantasy series, and you played Final Fantasy XI: Online, then you definitely need to invest in the expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. The additions are quite nice and the story line is amazing.

Final Fantasy XIV is a fun great game. Lots of content and a familiar feel with lot of the characters from past games. Fun leveling system and lots of abilities to allow you to have a fully customizable character.

This is a very good extension to the already super fantastic game Final Fantasy XIV. The new missions and story is great...as I have only tipped the iceberg of this game. Very worth every dime spent and then some!

Amazing storyline, more focused than A Realm Reborn. New abilities for classes make monotonous rotations a thing of the past.

This is one of the better releases of an MMO expansion that I have seen. While it does require you to actualy complete the story, unlike others, it is well worth it.

Great Expansion no issues there. I learned the hard way since Square-Enix didn't give their customers a heads up. This expansion will only work if you have purchased Final Fantasy Reborn 14 from them. If you purchased the Main game from Steam this expansion will not work. You will need to buy it from Steam. I purchased the disk and it would not install so I am out $40.00. I had to buy the expansion from Steam and pay another $40.00. Once the game is open you can not return the game.

This expansion pack really dives deep into the story with some crazy antics only FF devs could come up with. Love the flying mounts and everything!

Great expansion to a solid MMO. Beware that to access most of the content, you have to have completed the main story of the base game, A Realm Reborn.

To put it simply, if you own Final Fantasy 14, you need to own Heavensward. It both enhances and extended the FF14 experience in a myriad of ways.

FFXIV continues to evolve from what was a horrible original product. The game offers a great escape from the typical MMO's we see today.

This is the best MMO game currently, and SE works hard to bring more joy to people. The story line is long and a lot of things to do, but pretty easy. It is a bit like UO but great visual arts, 3D and more simple.

If you already own the Realm Reborn, this is a nice update to it. Lots of new things to try. If you are a fan, it's recommended.

I love FFXIV. It is the first MMO I hit the level cap in, and I can't wait to do it again in Heavensward!

Unfortunately, I'm not even able to get to most of the content that comes in this expansion: except for the Au Ra race, nearly everything requires that you complete the version 2.55 story content. So I have this expansion and no ability to really use it. I am looking forward to the Machinist job and flying mounts, but I can't quite get them yet. If you enjoy this game, it WILL be worth it, but don't buy it until you get to at least the 2.5 content or you're dead set on playing as an Au Ra.

FFXIV is already a great game and this expansion is fantastic and makes it that much better.

This expansion brought me back to the game after a year +. I forgot how well done and fun this game is. It lacks the PvP community that many other MMOs have but the PVE aspect is the best I have ever played. The game takes what works from many other popular MMOs and used it there. I highly recommend this game to anyone that loves MMOs. Also if you love crafting this is the place to do it. Its a mini game in itself.

Square Enix has been in my life since I was 19 when I started to play Final Fantasy 11. I now play FF14. And, it's not true that gamers have no life. I graduated from college playing ff11 and I am now in my career and have been for the past 7 years. Try it, it's awesome and a great stress reliever from work :)
