The last Final Fantasy I played was VII for the PS1 and I loved the art, music, and overall aesthetic of the game but was not a fan of the turn based style of combat. This one allows you to either freely control your character OR use the turn based system! The graphics are great, music is great, combat is really fun albeit the environment and camera angles don't mesh well at times and you can't see anything that is happening.

PROS: I've had a great time playing this game. I have easily sunk hours upon hours in it's vast world. The visuals, monster, and character designs are very nice. The scale of the game feels big. CONS: The story isn't as epic as other FF games and the battle system is really shallow. I can tell that they wanted the game to appeal to a bigger audience so there is really no complexity to any part of the game.

this is a great RPG. the final fantasy franchise has came a long way and this is highly anticipated game that doesn't disappoint. i definitely recommend this.

Graphics-8 Looks really nice at times but lack of anti-aliasing hurts hair effects greatly SOund-10 Favorite soundtrack of the series Story-7 Lots of great moments that are slowed down by some boring slow moments Gameplay-9 always the most important part of FF is the game play and when this game is hitting on all cylinders it is amazing. The camera angle becomes a real frustration in close quarter battles though. Overall-8.5 but it is more of an 8 than a 9

Awesome story, great graphics, and a huge open world! Definitely a Final Fantasy to remember.

Final Fantasy XV has a lot to offer. Large open world, lots of content baked into that world to get you in the mood to explore and loot enemies and mini games to keep you searching for more. Over all this game did not feel like a final fantasy title to me, an old school FF fan of the turn based days but felt fresh enough to me to give it a thumbs up and spend 100+ hours doing every single mission and side quest.

Been playing Final Fantasy since back on the SNES and this takes a turn with the battle system. Pretty open world. This is a case where different is not bad.

Highly recommend watching Kingsglaive and the Brotherhood anime before playing the game otherwise it totally lacks context. It's a fun and pretty easy, beautiful telling of a story. Traveling is slow sometimes, but it's worth enjoying the character development during the road trip. Story has been good so far, and gameplay is fun.

The Story you can explore for yourself, I enjoyed it quite a bit. But the actual gameplay is something that still needs work. its trying to be kh2 real bad, but its not as smooth. its a system where you feel like you're still not getting the whole concept, but in fact you are, it just makes you feel that way. with that said, still a fun game, would recommend it to any ff fan, non ff fan.....probably not

Got this game for the family and was really impressed on the 4K graphics, great story line, and smooth combat

After having recently finished this game, I can attest to how well polished it is. Aside from the obvious sexualization of the character "Cindy" and the translation hiccups of a JRPG, the gameplay and "open world" of FFXV really shine - and oh yes, the Regalia as an airship is totally worth playing after completion!

Excellent advancement and graphics. My wife enjoys these types of games more than the 1st person shooters.

This game has new graphics and a story that's around 20 hours but has hundreds of hours of sidequests much like FF7. The EXP system is odd as you need to rest to gain your EXP. The battle system is live and 3d like that of parasite eve and you can use the wait system or the active battle system.

They put a lot of effort and it's easy to explore with helpful hints to guide you also it is very much fun to play also this game could take hours to play lots of side quest to build money which is great and go along really well quest good cinematic movies to watch along the progress of the game

Realkt good game. The open world concept really is the factor of this game. I love it.

The main story is pretty short for a Final Fantasy game, but I still enjoyed the game a lot. It has an open world for most of the game and there a lot of side quests that you can complete. I bought the game for the main story so I doubt I'll get through all of them. The cut scenes look phenomenal as does the rest of the game. I snagged this game on sale and would definitely recommend buying it to others if they see it on sale. I probably wouldn't pay 50 or 60 dollars for it though.

I love final fantasy ... well I should say I have my picks on final fantasy games. Will always adore 7 but it is nice to try different story lines. I do enjoy the graphics and how in depth the story line is. Each ff series have its own unique appeal.
