must buy!! Epic story! finished with in two days, love it!

Fire Emblem: Awakening is a great strategy RPG. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of strategy RPG's along the lines of Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea etc. Great story, beautiful graphics and fun customizable gameplay!

Easily the best entry in the Fire Emblem series and a must-have for any 3DS owner who is a fan of Strategy games and RPGs. High quality all around, complete with a great story, well-designed gameplay, and a wonderful presentation.

A great strategy game that's beautiful and has nice story

This is the first Fire Emblem game I have ever tried, and it was also the first game I bought after getting a 3DS. The reason I wanted to try this game is that it looked very similar to classic turn based RPGs I've played like Shining Force III. It is one of the more challenging games I've played recently, but I really like how in-depth the strategy is.

Awesome cutscenes. Have only played a few hours. Not a big fan of the weapons having limited use, but enjoying our so far.

This game was my first purchase for the 3dsxl and I must say it does not dissapoint. The story is rich and the graphics are vibrant. The casual mode is a nice fail-safe to keep your army alive. Moreover, you will want all of your party members alive if you're like me because of the way their relationships develop, which makes you genuinely care about the outcome of each battle. The visceral battle system cut scenes are a nice way of letting you see the action up close, but can be skipped if you're short on time or if you've seen them already. Streetpass multiplayer is a fun addition to collect, trade, and battle other peoples squads. Overall, this is a brilliant game and a must play. It is the first game in a while to make me cry, so it is that good.

With high-quality cutscenes and battles viewable from several perspectives, this story, as dramatic and heart-racing as any motion picture, is revealed, its twists and turns ensnaring you in rapt attention. Weapons, characters, and game difficulty are all adjustable, making for the perfect replayable game. You can even choose berween the Japanese and English audio for narration and cutscenes, both of which are amazing. This game also combines mechanics for level, equipment, and stat-based games, allowing for the ultimate fighting experience. Hard-core gamers, casual players, and otaku alike will all find in this game something incredible to enjoy.

Great game, but I played on casual mode which might have been a mistake. It let me play with a sort of reckless abandon since I knew these characters would come back alive. That made the game easier, even tho I cringed and tried to not anyone die anyway. First time with this series and the banter with the characters is great.

This game's high rating is justified. I found the writing very well done with some humor thrown in.

I played FE awhile ago like 10 years and stopped, just recently got into FE again and this game was a blast. I played it nonstop and now I'm playing FE: Fates. Great game for anybody who's new to the series or even veteran (though I think all the veterans played it already).

This is another TOP game for the Nintendo 3DS, I would highly recommend to any 3DS owner.

I like so much this type of games, because a good strategy is needed to beat the game.

One if the most challenging games in the series but it's rewards in game are worth it.

This is a difficult, frustrating, but well rewarding game. Going through it the first-time, I didn't care much for all the side-quests, extra characters, etc. Afterwards, playing through in harder modes and trying to get sidequests and all the characters... very frustrating and tedious. However, the most fun is planning your way through each level and calculating every move. Leveling up, changing job classes, etc. It's all part of the fun that makes each time you play this game unique and different. I've played almost all the games in the Fire Emblem series that have been released in North America. The amount of DLC in this one makes it well worth paying extra for the amount of fun it brings. For those that are impatient or not a fan of tactical RPGs, this is not for you, but if you're willing to accept the challenge and play something that makes you really think outside the box, this game is for you.

This is easily one of my favorite games in many years. It is such a well made game, the gameplay is fun and challenging. What really makes this game great is the re-playability and having your characters form relationships with each other and build their skills.

Great game! A little getting use to, but after a bit it's a great story!

The turn based system is quite good and a bit challenging at times. I'm several hours into it and the story is quite engaging as well.

Can't get enough! I would highly recommend this my friends!
