really fun. this was my first fire emblem and it was great

Big fan of the series, so i had to buy it no matter what.

Fire Emblem is a great RPG and reminds me a lot of the old final fantasy/dragon quest days with turn based combat. I'm not too far into the game but so far the storyline is excellent and am looking forward to continue to play it.

My wife loves this game. This was a great investment.

Great game, I played the demo and knew I would love it, got it while it was on sale for a few days for only 15$ I had to rush and get it luckily I was still able too! Recommend to all RPG lovers and anybody who owns a 3ds

A great game and a great way to prepare for Fates!

I got this game for $15 after buying my 3DS during Black Friday. I ended up putting 60 hours into it over two weeks and loved every minute of it. I still need to go back and finish all the side stories and DLC though.

I bought a 3DS XL just for this game (and the other Fire Emblem games). I have been a fan of the franchise since they started on the old Game Boy. This installment provides some new advantages like grinding, as well as a casual mode that prevents perma-death (great for those new to the tactical RPG style of gaming). The weapons still act in a rock, paper, scissors kind of advantage system which forces you to diversify your lineup for each battle. Being able to team up to help protect weaker units is a plus, and adjacent team members can help guard, counterattack, and provide stat boosts, all while earning a little EXP if they help in a matchup. This game is great, buy it if you are a fan of RPGs.

This is a MUST HAVE for any 3DS owner! The gameplay is just like the other Fire Emblem games where you have a party of lords, swordsmen, knights, pegasus knights, etc. and you fight battles against enemy armies. As the great story progresses, you encounter villains and recruit new party members to your cause. Many characters join your army, so it can be overwhelming at times for Fire Emblem neophytes when they can only pick 10 of them to go to battle. The game also offers casual (if a unit dies in battle, he/she just sits out for the rest of the battle) or classic gameplay (if a unit dies in battle, he/she is gone forever) along with different game difficulties to suit beginner, intermediate, or advanced players.

If you're considering this game, you know what to expect. More of the same awesome and challenging fire emblem game play. Story is awesome and the multiplayer features pretty decent too.highly recommended

This game was easy to pick up and start playing, making it a great game for beginners. However, it was challenging enough to entertain longtime Fire Emblem fans. This is a must get game.

Fire Emblem does not have a great story but the game isn't about story. It's about the strategy of the battles. Winning a battle leaves a feeling of triumph. If you want a challenge pick this up.

I am not usually a fan of this type of game, but I bit the bullet as the price was right. It turns out everything good I had heard about Fire Emblem Awakening is true! Such a charming game!

I was hesitant in getting this since this is a tactical rpg but I am sure glad I gave it a chance! Easy to understand and fun once started. Highly recommend!

This is a great game from a great series for the Nintendo 3DS! Excellent strategy and deep gameplay. I also recommend the sequel, Fire Emblem Fates!

This is not the newest game in the series, but its still one of the best. I got this for my kids, but they can't put it down. They love it.

The Fire Emblem franchise was kinda dying before this game. Awakening is an incredible game, and, deservedly, the savior of the franchise.

Fire Emblem Awakening is a great improvement on the older installments in the series. It doesn't take away from the old rpg feel of the older games. With new difficulty options (normal or classic, but seriously who would play on normal) it offers a chance for newer gamers to get into the series, if they found the older games too challenging . So far the story has been great, and feels like the game is older than it is. I would recommend this game to anyone.

Great game for those who own the Fire Emblem game for the WII and were waiting for a follow up game. You won't be disappointed if your a Fire Emblem fan.

I bought this game as a gift for my bro, and he loved it! It's the best strategy game on the 3ds, and it has almost unlimited gameplay potential.
