One of the best looking Switch games and you can never go wrong with Fire Emblem

As far as the story goes, its stupid. BUT, as far as the gameplay is concerned, its seriously some of the best on the series. I love being able to stagger enemies by hitting them with their weakness as it offers a whole new layer of strategy to the game (especially since the enemies can do the same to you). Its so much fun to play and I really hope the next FE game builds off this gameplay style even more. Its a shame this released so early in 2023 as I feel this game ended up getting buried and overshadowed by many other releases this year, but dont miss this one! Lets just hope the next game has a more ENGAGING story.

Fire Emblem is up there in my top 3 favorite game franchises, and I am glad to say that this game does not disappoint. Might be the best Fire Emblem game I've played so far, and I have played about 5 others in the series. Although the story is unremarkable, the gameplay is excellent. It is honestly hard to put the game down once you start playing. Also, while the visuals of Three Houses were sadly somehow almost PS2 levels, the visuals of this entry are amazing. This is the best looking game I have played so far on the Switch. And I love the character designs, although not everyone agrees with me.

I was turned off by Three Houses. This game is more of a return to the class Fire Emblem gameplay. There are still some more bells and whistles but not so much that I dislike it like Three Houses. Visuals are great too.

The game is great personally i prefere 3 Houses gameplay loop but this one still just as good ganeplay wise but the pre-rendered scenes are way better than before.

If you loved the Fire Emblem franchise then this game is the perfect game. Going back to the route and enjoying the strategy aspect of the series

Awesome game. A little different from the previous one, more focused on the battles and less focused on the social aspect, but still super fun.

Nintendo brought the game back to basics. I love it. It feels like a love song to the series itself by honoring characters from past games.

Weapon triangle is back which is a plus. Having infinite uses on weapons takes away from the strategy a bit but the game is still awesome

I love this game! The story is very good and engaging ( no pun intended). The way that the combat has evolved has made this quite fun.

This is one of the best fire emblem games to come out in a long time! The battle system is the same classic system you are used to, but they have added emblem rings to basically beef up your party against some tough bosses. The story is great and the gameplay is so much fun, and the DLC really adds to the main story and gives you a lot more options. Definitely recommend for any fire emblem fans & people who have never played the series can easily get into this game.

The game itself felt like a very fresh take on the long-established franchise, with new mechanics and army building options that made you feel closer to these characters through the use of both support conversations with other units, as well as the Emblems of older game entries. Would 100% recommend if you're either a new fan to the series, or a diehard veteran.
