This is like the Pokemon Blue version of Fire Emblem, you need toget the other one to catch em all. There was actually a version that had both on a single cart but it sold out so quick, so I'm docking a point off for that. Still, as it's own game it's a good one.

Another enjoyable Fire Emblem title. I can't wait to finish both story lines and upcoming DLC.

If you like turn based strategy or the Fire Emblem world, this game is a perfect fit. It's a bit harder than Birthright but still a great story.

A new fire emblem challenge with great additions

This game reminds me of the other fire emblem games I played, a simple strategy game. That being said, there are a number of additions that make me think this is the best one yet. This game has multiple modes, including making it easier, so that when a character dies they don't permanently die like in some of the other games. There are also a lot of upgrading opportunities, and building your castle which is a wonderful addition. So essentially I think as a strategy game and the upgrading possibilities I think this may be the best fire emblem as of yet.

It's a solid srpg with one major fault. The game feels incomplete without the dlc.

I couldn't decide which side to choose so I purchased both! I've heard many great things about the series prior to the release when I first played awakening. I just wish I wasn't so backed up with other games so I could play already!

This is game exemplifies the more difficult aspects of the Fire Emblem series. Limited resources, actual tension for character death, and a tougher storyline. If you're an FE veteran and want a challenge, this is the route to go!

The Fire Emblem series has a long history of strategy games so try you should try to have an open mind before playing this one. There are 3 games in this iteration of the game, birthright is the easier one and this one is considered the more harder of the 2 games. As a fan of the series, I consider the game great and has everything you'd expect from a typical FE game. You can get the other game cheaper if you buy it on the eshop, including an exclusive 3rd path for the game called Revelations.

If you liked any of the past fire emblem games you're going to love this one. It seems to be more story detailed but still contains all the great tactical rpg elements that the series is known for. Don't wait, pick it up.

Wasn't paying enough attention when I preordered this. This is the bad guy choice for story, not too happy, always go the good guy route and would rather have a copy of good guy version. Having the game split is a little cheap.
As far as gameplay, it's Fire Emblem. A fantastic tactics game.

I would love to buy more of this type of game in the future and I hope that other people decide to give this game a good rating. They should consider coming to Best Buy to purchase this type of product as well.

Fire Emblem: Birthright and FE: Conquest are two extraordinary games in the FE series. That said, I recommend beginning with Birthright, if you intend to play both games at some point. Birthright allows you to generate infinite counters so that you continue to grind and build support relationships between your party members. Conquest, on the other hand, has limited encounters, so you're forced to be highly strategic in every battle - which, of course, is part of the allure in Conquest.

I am maybe halfway through it, but it has already proven itself to be one of the best Fire Emblem games I've played. I bought Conquest for the added difficulty and skipped Birthright since that sounds too easy. I have not been disappointed. I like this a lot more than Awakening, and almost as much as Genealogy of the Holy War for the SNES (yes, there's a fan-translated ROM floating around). If you like Fire Emblem or turn-based SRPGs in general, you must play this game.

Fire Emblem is one of my favorite series of games. I've played all of the campaigns in each game through to completion at least once. I wouldn't rank this is my favorite, but it's a solid entry in the franchise and well worth owning on the 3ds platform.
Initially I was interested in the castle building and relationship mechanics, but they quickly became a chore. After every battle, there are myriad new things to do in your castle marked with an exclamation point. The boil down to variations on the same handful of events every time. I feel compelled to do them all to gather resources and increase my relationship meter between companions, but it's overwrought. Fortunately, the tactical play on the battlefield is as solid as ever and there are some nicely designed encounters. Buy it!
