It's easier to use than I expected. It downloads the program guide and set programs to record 1 or whole series. No more directv!

Installation was difficult to understand and I wished the associate helping us would have pointed out what was needed to make it work properly.

Finally cut the cable cord

I wish there was a way to connect directly to the TV without having to use the Fire Stick. The plus side to the Fire stick is you can watch recordings from the Recast in other rooms. But, I'd still like to be able to hook directly to the TV in the same room as the Recast.

It does a very good job, despite some minor quirks. My real "beef" is that installation instructions are not detailed enough. I bumbled around, and got no help from tech support, but finally got it installed. Despite all this I would definitely buy it again.
