The device does pretty well at sending signal to the Firesticks but does not send reliably to devices on the go. You must have a very strong antenna signal for this to work well, especially when recording. Overall, I am not sure that this was a good investment given the problems I have had.

What a game changer! I was paying almost $200 a month for internet and tv with U-verse. I’ll never look back. Recast is worth every penny. Make sure you use a fire stick to get the full advantage of it.

We are thoroughly enjoying our Recast! We are finding So many more viewing options than we ever did with any of our satellite packages, and there are dozens of Free apps available as well! We are also having fun watching some classic TV shows OTA.

If I thought it was worth the extra money I would have gone with the TiVo bolt ota but this is a great unit with no monthly fees

I bought this for my mom and she has been extremely pleased with it. Set up was easy and it is super user friendly. She struggles with technology sometimes so the fact that she can use this without trouble speaks volumes! I definitely recommend!

Great for over the air recordings. A strong internet connection and good antenna reception is required.

Just cut the cord recently and got a antenna for local channels and it works great so far was paying like 29 dollars a month for dvr with my service the TV guide is great and you get extra channels from amazon

Found it cheaper here than the special was online with Google. We bought it with an antenna to record some local shows during the day. No need to pay for cable when you don’t watch but a couple of channels so it really does save us money.

Good price. Needed help installing. Works well but is a little less user friendly than my other DVR.

This is a great product for cord cutters with OTA antenna users. Pause live TV and record. The only negative was that you have to use Amazon streaming device but I had those already. Works great.

Was sick of paying for cable TV and this is what we are using as an alternative. I purchased a cheap OTA antenna and am now able to stream live broadcast TV to my TV's using this and my Fire TV's.

It is fine and works well with your antenna but like everything amazon it work better with their products.

it works nice, but does loose signal, and buffer quite a bit, hopefully all the kinks can be worked out

After I figured out I needed a fire stick, it worked well. Was disappointed that the sales associate did not tell me that I needed the fire stick!
