We cut the cord and still wanted to be able to record some shows. This works as expected.

Works great with all my Fire devices. Records OTA broadcast. Stream live TV to wifi tvs and devices that cannot connect to an antenna. Really like this a lot.

Works as it is supposed to but it would be nice if I didn’t have to buy additional hardware to make it work on my television. Design this as a standalone device and it would be 100% better!!!

I should have bought the four-tuner model. I have the two-tuner model and need to record three shows at once sometime.

We use this for over the air connection to our fire stick but for our older TV it works great for our apps. We cut the cord and do not regret it.

the fire tv recast is great to be able to copy shows and sports when you have cut the cord from dish or any of the TV companies.

Works as planned. Discontinued by Amazon. Hopefully it will be supported.

Its been several months I owns this device. In general live recording and streaming of recorded video works great. I rated 2 start mainly because of channel guide issue and the customer service response from Amazon. I thought Amazon is great on customer service, but was disappointed with this experience. Channel guide does not work on my device, I have mentioned this to Amazon customer service many times. As usual they suggests to restart, power off/on, disconnect/reconnect etc etc. at the end it never worked. Amazon customer service silently ignored my issue. Since I am out of 15 day return policy, I can not return it back and stuck with the device.

It is a great addition to my tv watching. I especially like that it is voice activated. I now have lots more choices and it is easy to use.

The Amazon fire TV recast is really easy to set up and I will recommend it to a friend and family member

I moved to the country with no internet or tv. This is great with my new antenna!

Purchased on sale. Works okay, but not great - dependent on good quality antenna. Noticeable audio/video delay at times. Slow to connect to DVR with Firestick. Limited use without a Fire TV system.

Device is perfect for anybody who is trying to cut the cord without any monthly fee

Tried to use my new FIRE 10 tablet to set it up but it wouldn't connect either through WIFI or Ethernet so I tried my old 8 tablet and after failing to connect through WIFI I was finally able to set it up through Ethernet

Fire TV Recast is not a perfect product. When I compare the picture from my antenna to the picture streamed from the Recast, the streamed picture is much poorer

Fire TV Recast is an excellent product. The cast feature is a great plus. Also capable of connect to external storage drive.

This device takes weak antenna signals and records them in a crystal clear format. It holds a surprisingly large amount of content.

so far no issues we are really excited about this purchase, would highly recommend
