Don't buy this radio.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy this battery-powered radio a few weeks ago after living through Hurricane Sandy without electricity for a week back in 2012. The radio did not work out of the box. First, I could not set the time. Second, the volume worked for a day and no longer operates so the volume is stuck on Zero. For this to be in your closet for an emergency, you would be stuck. Please, do not buy. Now I am outside of the store return period, so I will try to access the manufacturer's warranty.
