I absolutely love my Alta HR and all of its features. I especially love the sleep tracker & just this morning started taking advantage of the fitstar training app that comes with my Fitbit. They do test runs of certain workouts and guide you through them and then have you rate the workout, then they Taylor A Perfect Workout to you. It's amazing you should really try it. If anything my Fitbit motivates me more than anything ever has.

I am pleased with these Fitbits, purchased for both me and my wife. Hers synced up quick with smart phone, but since I don't have one needed to sync it with laptop. Now here is where my complaint comes in. No where did it say you need what is called a dongle if your laptop, or tablet does not have Bluetooth. I had to purchase one and I finally got it to sync and took some more time to figure out how to update your steps and everything else. But, finally got everything working, and I am pleased with it.

I bought this to replace a Fitbit Flex. The Flex needed charged every day and stopped syncing. I've been very happy with the Alta and appreciate the ability to change straps.

Bought this for my wife’s birthday. Perfect timing to be on sale. She uses it and loves it’s compatibility to her iPhone. She never takes it off, hope it’s water proof!!! ;-)

I love my fitbit. I can tell when I have a good nights sleeps. I keeps me motivated to walk more.

The Alta HR tracks my heart rate which is important after some cardia issues that followed a bout of pneumonia. Until I am fully recovered, I also need to monitor steps and glasses of water per day. I have a small wrist that is about 1/4 inch roo large for the small wristband. That makes the band a bit uncomfortable in that it is too loose in one hole and too tight in the next one. I wanted a red band but I don't think this model comes in red. It would be great if it had an altimeter to distinguish when I am climbing stairs.

I previously owned an Alta and was devastated when I lost it. By the time I decided to replace it as a Christmas present for myself, the HR was available. I read the reviews and bought one. I found it a more helpful Alta with a better wrist band with buckle. The blue-grey a great color. The Alta HR an elegant and effective aid for tracking my healthy living and weight loss efforts. I would definitely recommend it.

Love this fitness tracker! I wanted something to help me keep up with my steps and sleep patterns and this did not dissapoint!

Bought this as a bday gift for my mom. She loves it! It wears nice with everything and the traditional watch band makes it easier for her to put it on. Now dad wants one!

Bought this after much nudging by my husband. Actually find it provides me with useful information about sleep and general level of activity. I like the slim profile; it's low key and doesn't call attention to itself. I had an older fitbit and appreciate the ease with which this one charges, using a clamp. Not always easy to check time or status, sometimes requiring a good whack. Overall, this is a solid 4 or even a 4+ when considering value. Just wish I could wear it in the pool at the gym!

I have had several different styles of Fitbits such as the Charge HR, Flex, Ionic, and Alta. This is my favorite thus far because you can change the bands to stainless steel or keep the elastomer band. It is more unostentatious and can still wear a fancy watch on the other hand. I love the HR and have been keeping track on my app for over 4 years! I tried the Samsung Gear and still preferred the fitbit.

This device is far superior to the previous one I had. It now shows a time history of heart rate for the whole day. This is quite good for those who want to know what their heart health is. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
