Bought this for my wife, and she's enjoying using it. One drawback is that it doesn't show the exact number of steps, particularly after you get over 10,000, though using the associated Fitbit App will display the full info.

This Fitbit is great, easy to set up and the app is loaded with info. Good for anyone either to track daily caloric input/output calories etc or for the avid trainer.

I originally had the Charge 2 but I had to get a different type of Fitbit because that one caused me to have wrist pain because it was too wide for me. The Alta hr is the perfect fit for me and does its job perfectly. It has all the functions I need, the only thing that I would have liked to keep from the Charge 2 was the floors climbed, however that is just a personal preference.

If you're interested in just the basics of tracking steps, etc with a device that has a beautiful minimalist look, this is the one. I am making a concerted effort to get up more during the work day, so the reminders are really helpful. If you're more intense in the scope of your workouts, I'd look at one of the other FitBits.

Small, has everything that I need and I can wear it with my regular watch for work.

My daughter is overweight and has been trying to lose weight , she has been going to a health club and just a few weeks ago did a 5k for the very first time and completed it in less than an hour. I was very proud of her so I bought her a fitbit. Should of gave it to her before she did it so she could of track down her actually time and all the stuff it does. Oh well She was really excited that I got it for her

Really like the features of the Alta HR. The size and the ease of charging is also a plus

The Fitbit has really good battery life. It also has a lot of features for a good price.

Small, compact and powerful. Battery last longer than other models. The cons of this Fitbit are; it is difficult to see in bright sunlight, hard to determine the number of steps unless you use the phone app, and exercise routines such as circuit training and weight lifting have to be manually entered. The advantages are that it is small, compact, has a good solid wristband, and an improved charging mechanism.

A basic fitness tracker in a sleek body. The disadvantage of its slim body is the graphics are small. It holds a charge well.

The Fitbit Alta HR unit is very reliable regarding all the functions it performs. The only deficiency I see in the product is that the time it takes to synchronize the unit to the mobile's app is very time consuming.

The Fitbit was perfect for a 14 year old. It had easy to follow directions, simple app and was compact in design.
