Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Alta HR's heart rate and sleep tracking features, as well as its ease of use and comfortable design. Many appreciate the device's accuracy and long battery life. However, some customers point out that the water resistance could be improved, and the display visibility could be better in bright light.

I previously owned the Fitbit Flex. I was ready for an upgrade and wanted something that could track my steps, encourage/remind me to move and also track my heart rate. This Fitbit does it all! I have enjoyed using this new model an it has not let me sit still. I highly recommend!

My wife wanted one of these devices for Christmas so after reading a bit about it I bought myself one. I like the design, very lightweight. Supported by a very useful and informative application for both Apple and Android smartphones. Although like some other devices, the step counter may respond to arm movements rather than actual steps, but combined with other features I still love this device. It actually motivates me to be more active and at 62 years of life that’s real important to me! I actually look forward to check the info each day on the app on my phone that syncs with the device via Bluetooth. Pretty cool device, support application and website.

I love my fitbit Alta. I had been wanting a fitbit with a heart rate monitor, but the others were too big and masculine. This one is small and more feminine (in my opinion). The charge lasts for atleast a week and easily syncs to my phone.

I love this tracker; tracks heart rate, steps, calories, sleep and more. I also love how small it is and that you can switch bands to match colors.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Had an earlier version and it eventually died, so she bought this one and loves it. Notifies her of phone calls, sleep information as well as steps, etc. She loves it. That is all I care about.

I love my Alta, but I am upgrading from the Fitbit One. The One I just kept in my pocket and never checked it. The Alta doesn't have the best display or very easy to switch between screens, but the small size makes it worth it to me. It's super comfortable and you just have to twist your wrist to see the time and pulse for me. It also tracks your sleep automatically and if you are active. This is perfect if you want a good light tracker, but if you want a watch to play with, get something bigger.

This tracker is a second upgrade from my original Fitbit. It has more options than my previous Fitbit trackers. I like the sleep tracker in addition to the heart rate monitor. This one also has replaceable bands.

a very good investment!, it's discreet and well designed, has all you need to carry on your wrist. the only thing I don't like is that it's not water ressistant, for the price it should be. But above this it's a great product, I'm satisfied with the product

I love this tracker! It's small and comfortable to sleep in. It keeps up with my steps and heart rate and allows me to compete with my friends. It doesn't keep up with stairs climbed like the charge 2 but I prefer the appearance of the Alta HR

A couple of years ago, i purchased a fitbit flex in hopes of becoming more active. I ised it for about a month, and it ended up in a drawer for nearly two years. I recently pulled it out and thought I would give it a go again. Within the soace of a week, I found that fitbit had since released several new models, and I chose the Aria HR as my new tracker. I have been using it for about 5 weeks, and have found it to be so motivating and helpful! Rather than just tracking my basic steps, it alsobtracks my heartrate and auto tracks my activities such as elliptical and aerobic workouts. All of this additional information has been so engrossing, I'm finding myself to be highly competitive and driven. I have already lost 14 pounds and decreased my resting heart rate by a large amount. This is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to stay dedicated to a new lifestyle.

I bought this for myself to track my steps. I found out it does much more. I use it as a way to get me out of my chair every hour, and to track my sleep. It's fun to track weight loss, heart rate, days of exercise, and other health related areas. I love it and, some day I expect the batter will no longer re-charge and I'll be happy to purchase another one.

I was skeptical about fitness trackers for a long time but the Alta HR was the one finally compelling enough for me to try. I've loved using it. Surprisingly effective at tracking steps and heart rate. But my favorite feature is probably the sleep tracking, since it tells me when I go to sleep (normally hard to figure out exactly). The design is very slim as well, so I can wear it with a traditional watch.

I thought about saving a few bucks and going with the Alta - I just want to keep track of my activity...I am so glad I upgraded to this unit. I pay more attention to the HR than I thought I would. The unit itself is great so far! It charges fast and will hold a charge for almost a full week. It has reminders (quick vibrate buzz then a message on the screen) if I have not moved in a while - mostly at work - so I get up and stretch and walk a bit. It is not big and chunky so I don't feel like it is in my way. Love the size and function of this. Took me a while to get used to the watch band type band on it because I had the Flex with the little pin thingys. I had not worn a watch in years...so yeah, I had to adjust to the band. Now I don't even notice it and taking it off and putting it on is second nature. Would I buy this one again? Yes I would! Would I recommend it to others? Yes I would!

I have had several other fit bit trackers but I purchased this one for the Heart Rate monitor built into the tracker. The Alta HR is very easy to set up and tracks all my activities without missing any of my exercise that I do daily. Love the sleep tracker as well it lists the different stages of sleep though out the night. Very nice addition to my ever growing fit bit collection.

My Fitbit Alta HR is a useful tool to keep me active on a daily basis. With reminders to keep moving, and easy goal-setting, I’m able to track my steps throughout the day to ensure I’m progressing towards my goal. And I love the fireworks when I achieve my steps goal! I frequently check my heart rate and love to track my sleep with the app too. Great tool for anyone looking to make wellness a priority even if you’re not a hard core fitness buff.

I love my Fitbit Alta!! It's not huge like the others. I can easily wear it to work. I love all the things it tells me quickly - heart rate, steps, minutes of exercise, etc. I also like the notifications from my phone. I can see who's calling & who sent a text so I'm not grabbing my phone as often to see if I missed something. It also tells me when to take a break & go for a needed brief walk. I was very hesitant & shopped around a lot before I took the jump. I wish I would have much sooner! The reason for the 4...I bought a large but wish I would have gotten the small. I wear it on the second to last hole. When I measured my wrist I was borderline between sizes. I needed the small for sure.

picked up the fitbit, partially for a "watch" but also it has proved to be helpful in making me more active because it buzzes when I've been sitting too long. I use the daily reminder option to help me get 8 hours (or close to 8 hours) sleep. And keeping track of my steps gives me incentive to keep moving. Overall quick and easy setup, and very intuitive to use.

I bought this to replace my FitBit one, which it does nicely. The sleep tracker function works better and I really like the Heart Rate function. The battery life is good (slightly less than 7 days) and recharges in a couple of hours. The only feature I miss from my FitBit One is it does not record how many flights of stairs are navigated.
