Battery lasts a full week and I like the sleep and heart rate monitors. There is a lot of information in a small package.

So I personally have the original Alta for fitbit, but when my boyfriend wanted to also get a fitness tracker he also wanted to measure his heart rate. I was unaware that the Alta had a different model with the HR feature but since getting it my boyfriend loves it. The original Alta just indicates if you're restless or moving at night when you should be sleeping, but the HR feature measures what kind of sleep you're getting based on your heart rate. Very handy when figuring out the best way to sleep at night.

I had a Fitbit in the past, it broke, and I'm sad it took me nearly a year to replace it. I ordered my new Fitbit just before a vacation- where I knew I'd be walking a lot. I'm very competitive, so competing against coworkers, friends and myself in steps is a great motivator on my fitness goal. I chose this Fitbit because it is slender, more dainty than my last. I'm very happy. My only wish (more so on hikes) is that it also calculated stairs. But overall, I am very happy! The battery life also, is excellent!

This is my first fitness/health tracker and I have to say it performs well. From the ease of entering the food you eat to getting real time feedback about my body is a great thing for my health. Highly recommend!

I Bought this for my wife. She wanted a fitness tracker that look like a bracelet and not a watch. This fills the bill and she is very satisfied with it. She likes it better than other Fitbits she has owned.

Do your every day chores and this device records your activity and reminds you to get up and walk for a few minutes, tells your current steps, monitors your heart rate, even wakes you up in the morning with a gentle buzz. It even tells time. :-) Everyone wants to be healthy nowadays, this FitBit has helped keep me on track. It will do the same for you.

The Fitbit Alta HR has all the great features that make Fitbits so appealing, plus a sleek design. The Alta HR has essentially the same features of the Charge 2, but a thinner band. I wear it with other bracelets on the same wrist and it's not a problem. You can flip your wrist to check the time without touching it, scroll through all of your stats for the day right there, and it's not uncomfortable or annoying. Plus, the battery lasts for a long time. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Gift for my wife. The size is perfect. Metal on the back does not seem to cause allergy problems she has with other metal trackers. Functions great. Likes getting texts without pulling out her phone.

My husband loves it and uses it every day. The display is easy to read and he likes the ability it gives him to check his heart rate using the app on his phone . Excellent price and great quality.

I do not like wearing watches and very rarely wear bracelets. With that said, I love my Fitbit! I wear it all the time and barely notice it. I love that I can easily track my food intake, my workouts and track my sleep with the app on my phone. Yep, I’m hooked.

After much peer pressure to get a Fitbit product I finally settled on the Alta HR. I wanted something a bit less bulky but that still had alert notifications for text, calls, and calendar and that's exactly what I got. Very comfortable to wear, easy to use, and the app is great. I enjoy the challenges and I love the fact you can switch the band out. I purchased a designer band that looks awesome when I go out - you can't even tell I'm wearing a fitness product. Just great!

This product gives you just the basic steps for a pedometer, daily calorie burn, active minutes. Plus gives you a pulse rate, and tracks your sleep patterns. I like the pulse rate monitor to keep my target heart rate up during workouts. For your basic beginner of using a Fitbit I recommend this highly!! Also the sleep tracker is great to see how well I am sleeping! Light and durable for everyday wear. Easy too read screen with tap/touch screen.

I like this fitbit a lot. I really enjoy getting to understand my sleep cycles. I do kind of wish I had purchased the Charge HR 2, but this fitbit is great for what it is made to do!

This fit bit product was perfect for me because it was the size I needed for my girlfriend. Sh loved it because it did the same thing mine does, but in a smaller more feminine size.

The store had a fitbit expert who helped me choose the right product. It is slim and discrete yet provides tons of information and quickly connected to my phone via the fitbit app.

This product is great. I especially think the heart rate monitor is important to me as is the sleep monitoring feature. Really helpful. Lots of good information withing the app.

Bought this for my college student. She wanted something sleek and slim but would give her all of the information she needed to stay on a healthy exercise track. Great product!

I really enjoy having a Fitbit!! It's made me so much more aware of my physical activity. I love that today I got to see he flower grow and see my 10k steps happen. This little thing truly makes you feel good about you health as well as makes you cautious. I wanted to exchange it for the Fitbit Charge HR but I love the slenderness of the Alta HR! I wish it had the same functions but it's still a really great watch/fitness helper!

I love the Fitbit HR Alta! It's sooooo nice to be able to keep track of my heart rate along with my steps... the Fitbit pushes me a little harder everyday to reach my goals.

I had the blaze which I preferred for it's easier to read display. But, I wanted this because of its slimmer design, so I could wear a regular watch also. It does all the same stuff, just not as detailed as the blaze, so it's just fine.
