It's a nice band

In fact, for workouts the silicon band is far better. While not poorly made I found that on my wrist the large was just a little big. Plus I am not sure how it holds up for workouts. The Blaze is a fitness tracker, not a smartwatch. I can see why Fitbit put it out, but you're better off sticking with the silicon band.
