Very easy to set up, even a child can use it. Charge holds up well. Band can be difficult at times to close with one hand

Being on a serious weight loss program, I was correct in concluding a Fitbit would make a great Christmas present for my wife. She loves it, but simply looking at the "large" size, and attempting to decided between it and a "small" one proved worrisome. So I returned it for the small, which has now turned out to be TOO small. It's made of material that, when sweating (and people losing weight exercise and want to know how many steps they're taking--the purpose of having it,) it has caused a reaction to my wife's skin and it's irritating.
We'd let all of this go except the process of returning it (especially after Christmas) was enough to test anyone's patience. You didn't have near enough help, and each transaction was time consuming. After we finally returned the product, we then had to get the replacement. No problem. There was only one person in the checkout ahead of us. We had our payment ready and were anxious to pay and leave.
This is where your business model falls apart and darn near cost you a sale. Why do you let the cashier stop what he or she is doing to go through a sales pitch for warranty options to a customer who has already made a selection and is in line trying to pay and get out of your store? If it were a simply "yes" or "no" procedure, that's one thing. The people ahead of us were purchasing a large screen TV and your "cashier's" sales pitch went on for ten minutes. And this was the ONLY cashier at the checkout. We could have gotten back in line at Customer Service, but that line was halfway across the floor with people returning merchandise.
Want to sell warranties? Have someone on the floor sell them to a customer after they've made their selection--not the cashier in the checkout line, especially the ONLY ONE IN THE STORE. I almost put the Fitbit down and went across the street to Target (where the price was better, but your honored their advertised price) and made my purchase there.

I thought I did a lot of walking during the day... wrong. This little service makes you want to try a bit harder to make those extra steps or stairs. You can set the alarm to remind you to get up and walk. The sleep graphs are interesting, I have mine set to normal. When set to sensitive, it showed me only sleeping for 3 hours. Syncs will to my HTC One M7. Have added Fitness Pal for better food listing.
If your wrist is very close to the limit between small and large, buy the large.

I love how it links to your phone so when you are receiving a phone call, your Fitbit vibrates! never a missed called! The one thing I did not like so much is that I am constantly walking briskly at work, Well I had to change the settings to "dominant hand" even though it was not my dominant hand because it tracked my every move and I wasn't always walking at the time. Great battery life, love the way it tracks your sleep.

The FITBIT is a convenient wristband device that is easy to use, syncs well with your smart phone and provides good data to track activity and sleep levels. It's design is attractive but subtle so it doesn't scream to the world that you're wearing a fitness tracker. I compared at a wide range of devices using the BESTBUY online compare function and then taking a closer look at my local store. I'm convinced I made the right choice.

I was skeptical at first about this item because I thought it was counting too many steps but once I got used to how it worked, I realized it works great. It links to mynetdiary, the nutrition app I use and the only thing I don't like about that is mynetdiary doesn't include the steps as losing calories because it considers them normal daily caloric loss. Overall i am pleased with the fitbit. tracks my sleep and when i toss and turn and so far, has been accurate. i think it creates motivation to want to move more.

I made this choice because of the fact that I could also track ongoing and outgoing calories online, along with the fact that external exercises could be added via the computer. My only complaint is that it counts steps as I play the piano! Not too happy about that. The only other concern I have is that I had to put black tape over the clasp as it kept Dali g off, and at 150.00, u didn't want to loose it.

Fairly easy to set up on laptop. Lots of help articles on website both for setting up and how to do, track, use etc. Can get a bit sweaty under wrist band if worn too long so I tend to change wrists night and day. Displays are easy to read. Targets easy to set and being able to read progress encourages you to keep to plan. Makes calorie counting very easy with built in activities but these can be added to with your own information. Battery charge lasts longer than stated in information.

It was easy to set up, easy to use.
I wear it all the time except for charging and if it will be submerged, I don't get it wet but it has been thru a lot of sweat! Seems pretty accurate. I've had no problems with it. I do not wear it tight, I wear it loose. I wish it was thinner and a little more stylish but I understand they have hired a new designer so there may be some decent designs in the future

This product is great for counting steps, cals burned, flights of stairs walked. It evem tells you good job when you reach your daily walking goal. Another cool feature is the sleep tracking. It tells you how long you slept, as well as how many times you are restless.
Dowm side..can't switch out the band at all

The Charge was purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I've had several Ones, a recalled Force, and personally now use an early release Charge HR. The last few days I have worn both her Charge and my Charge HR. Opinions: Returning Charge due to remarkably poor battery performance -- dead with 22-30 hours after a full charge. The Charge HR battery isn't great, lasting around four days -- never seen close to the "up to seven" days Fitbit cites in promos. Four days I can live with....daily charge needs, no way. The phone/text of HR works well, but I did need to update my iOS system to get it to work with my older iPhone. Love the alarm, too. The HR function is very helpful and tracks accurately against my strap-on treadmill monitor. I very much appreciate the buckle strap on the HR and when I tried her Charge was reminded how difficult I found the Force clasp which was slightly more challenging than the Charge.
Sum: because of the HR function and much simpler band connection (and possibly battery issues (tho her issue may be isolated) I would definitely spring the extra $$ for the HR model. I am giving the HR to daughter and have ordered the Surge for myself. One more point: so far I am concerned with how much I'm scratching the screen on the Charge HR...if this trend continues, it may become a serious issue.
Not perfect yet, but I've enjoyed my Fitbit devices and appreciate their innovations and refinements.

The difference between Fitbit and other trackers is the motivation factor. It motivates me to move more. If you have small wrist it may not be as comfortable though, it is a bit stiff to wear. The battery lasts long. I like the fact that I can see the time too, so that I do not have to wear a watch in addition

I have wanted to get a Fitbit for two years and I am so glad that I did! I'm a very goal-oriented person and this challenges me to stay on the move. I love that it shows all the things I need - time, date, steps walked, stairs climbed, calories burned and distance walked. It's comfortable to wear and is easy to put on/take off. It syncs up easily with my phone through the app which is also awesome to encourage me to stay on the move. It's a wonderful product!

I wear my fitbit 24/7 . The only time I take it off is to shower. It tracks my steps and tracks my sleep.
The best part is to pressure your friends and family members to get one and then you can all compete for weekly or daily steps. This competition is honestly the most healthy thing I've ever experienced. It motivates me more than anything in the past. well worth the price.
It also comes with a free app for android or iphone and it is very very good.

I love this but was hoping for a heart rate monitor. It was a gift so I didn't really have a choice. Once I figured out how each section was calculated, I liked it a little more. However it doesn't get five stars because it stopped syncing with my phone after the first few days. Still trying to figure out how to fix it. It does hold a power charge for a long time, which is nice.

I love this fit bit very easy to set up and get started online it tracks all your steps and a perfect watch it keeps track weekly of your best days and least active days , lets you know in a email when battery is low and just plug it in for couple hours and your ready to go. Perfect for what I was looking for and Best Buy matched the online price
