works as advertised,. Interesting to see how many steps you take in a day. Motivates you to exercise. Hooks up easily to computer or phone for tracking progress. Only thing is be sure the strap is securely fastened. It is easy to hook on something and have it pop off.,

I received my fitbit as a Christmas gift. I have never had anything like it. I absolutely love it. It is thin and sleek on., b It is amazing how it is a watch, but can also keep track of your steps, calories burned,it gives you a graft at the end of the week of your overall workouts, tells you your weight and if you have lost or gained any in the past week. It is a fun way to help you see your progress.

It's great for running or activities where steps are involved but not sure how accurate it is for cardio activities and strength training. I do like the ability of being able to keep a log of food eaten and how it calculates calories burned. It also provides you with a notification that you've met your daily goal. That's a cool feature.

I bought the Fitbit as a Christmas gift for my wife. She was reluctant to begin with. I had to set it up for her. But when she started using it, she really got into it. She has been tracking her steps and her activities, and trying to get better sleep at night. (hint: TV off!) She also has joined a gym and has been attending regularly.

Not only does the fitbit track your steps, but it also works as a watch. The battery lasts about a week and only takes 1 hour to charge fully. The app for smartphones is excellent and provides a lot of feedback. You can also add friends and have a friendly daily or weekly competition for steps. Definitely makes you think twice about that decision to take the elevator and i now always take the stairs!

Purchased this for my wife for Christmas. She wears it all the time and it seems pretty easy to use. She can go a full week w/o charging it and works well if you remember to set it into its different modes like sleeping. I haven't seen her utilitze the cpu functionality for it yet so I'll update the review once she's done so.

I love my FitBit! I have a job where I am on my feet quite frequently, so I assumed that I had a fairly high step count. Boy was I wrong! Getting to actually see how many steps I take in a day versus my goal has really pushed me to meet my goal on a daily basis. It's also been great at helping me keep track of what I eat, which I think will help me toward my weight loss goals as well.

The charge fit bit accurately tracks your steps, distance, flights of stairs, and calories. Great way to track overall your burn on a daily basis. Drawback for the charge is that it won't track any other type of exercise that is not related to walking or running. You can't enter in other types of activities either.

My wife wanted this for her birthday so I got it for her. She loves checking her sleep patterns and quality as well as her daily steps taken and flights of stairs climbed. This particular Fitbit also monitors her heart rate. I tried it out too and thought it was pretty cool, I may be getting one for myself soon!

I was debating the Fitbit Charge vs. the Flex. It came down to these little things that make a world of difference. The Charge has a display while the Flex does not.. The Charge keeps up to real time with steps that you can see on display. You have to sync the Flex with your phone to see your status. The Charge lets you know when someone is calling your phone and who it is. Nuff said

Overall, I really like the Fitbit Charge. It may not count steps with 100% accuracy, but that wasn't the reason I bought this. It encourages me to get out and move more. The battery lasts at least a week. I like the sleep tracking functionality as well. Nice graph in the app shows how restless your sleep was.

This is one of the best things I've purchased for myself in a long time,it shows me how many steps I've walked in a day , how many calories I have burned ,how many miles I have walked . Even how many steps I've climbed, and when I get home all I have to do is pull up my app on my phone and all my information is right there, it even stores your progress for you how great is that !!!

I got my Fitbit Charge as a gift and am happy with it. It does everything expected and integrates well with the Fitbit iPhone app. I'd like it better if it was a little thinner, had a medium size and came in more stylish colors. I also found the clasp difficult at first, but I'm getting more used to it.

This is my second fit bit, I lost my first one on a trip and wanted to replace it. I really like how easy it is to pair with my IPhone and that I can change the display to see everything available or only the activities I want to track. I love it so much I bought one for my husband too!

So I have owned many Fitbits over the years. I am giving this 4 stars instead of three because this is a good device just has some bugs right now. I had a previous Charge and it lasted just a year before the bank broke. I then decided to replace it with an HR and was very disappointed in it. It would never sync right, caused a rash on my wrist and just not an over all good product. So gave up trying to sync and took it back. I exchanged for a Charge again. Although it does not cause the rash it also is not consistent on syncing but enough that I can deal with it. What I do have issue with is it unsnapping and falling off my wrist. This has happened easily 4 or 5 times luckily each time I caught the fact it did and found it right away. I am trying to figure out something I can make as a security clasp so that it wont fall off. I am not sure what Fitbit has changed over the years to cause these issues but I hope they are able to fix it because I don't want to change fit tracker.

I had one last year and had to return it due to the recall and a rash on my arm. I have been waiting patiently for a year and I am very happy. I considered the Charge HR but decided to keep with the basic. The Caller ID feature is new and fun. I also love the silent sleep alarm. The tracker keeps me motivated to reach 10,000 steps a day. I recommend it to anyone.

Even better than the Force. Has all the features of the Force plus some. It tracks your sleep automatically, it will vibrate when you get a call on your cell if it is within 20 feet (a handy feature for someone, like myself, who turns down the volume in church and forgets to turn it back up) and it has silent alarms that are set through your cell. Great product!

I never really was thinking about how many steps I took every day, but now when I hit 10000 and get that little vibration, it brings a smile to my face. I like the alarm functions and the challenges my son gives me. I even bought one for my husband, so now we both aim for 10000 steps a day.

I purchased 2 fit bit charges one for my wife and one for myself. I cannot express how much we love them. We are amazed how accurate they are. They trac our sleep, our steps, calories burned vs consumed. You can log so much information. You can even track your friends who have fit bits and challenge them. We love our fit bits. I will be buying the surge next.
