A 80's classic. A great representation of perseverance, determination, and hope of one's person dream against all odds to dance

This is one of the interesting use of Exciting Music and Dance combined with a great story line. It doesn't help that it was filmed in Historic city of Pittsburgh (where I grew up 30 miles away). The Steel Mills, The Incline, the Many Bridges, Downtown scenes, all brought back many happy memories. This will always be a movie to be watched again and again.

The video transfer is noticeably better than the previous Bluray release from over ten years ago. The audio has been remastered and is the real star of this disc. The extras are old interviews with the cast and crew, with a noticeably missing interview from the star herself. Why have interviews with the star of the film?

If you like music or dancing then you will love flashdance. This film came out in 1983 and is now better than ever on blu-ray. Great music great sound great special features and great price. I love this film and so will you.

If you love dance films, you'll love this movie. Cynthia Rhodes is a great dancer (she went on to dance in Staying Alive and Dirty Dancing). Marine Jahan is also great (she danced for Jennifer Beals).

Even if this movie was not very good (which it is!) the music is reason enough. This looks to be the same Blu-Ray repackaged. Not an essential upgrade.

Classic 80s film! Some great dancing and breakdancing … while welding together some great scenes.

This movie looks great on Blu ray. They did a good job with the restoration.

I'm really excited to have this movie because I'm able to replace my DVD. I hope it gets a physical 4k someday.

One of my favorite dance movies. The acting isn't the best but it has an excellent soundtrack. First time I saw it I was in high school, so it brings back a lot of memories.

Any 80s film fan must watch this. Pure 80s........

Special release Paramount Presents Flashdance. When I saw this one on sale I had to pick it up.

Flash Dance is one of those oldie like Dirty Dancing. It's the greatest movie I have ever seen! Excellent story line and soundtrack

If you haven't seen it, you are probably missing some 80s trivia questions out there. This movie is right up there as "a must see at least once" as any of the John Hughes films from the 80s.
