Customers regard the Flex - 8.9" Tablet's ease of use and screen resolution as significant strengths, with many praising its user-friendly interface and high-quality display. However, concerns exist regarding the battery life, which several users found to be insufficient for extended use. Limited storage space and the single micro USB port also drew criticism from some customers.

I am so pleased with my windows 10 insignia 8.9 flex tablet. So far it does so many of things that my laptops do. I have it protected under my geek squad protection plan.

Great tablet for someone new to Windows 10, or even for someone just looking to have a tablet around the house without worrying about the kids destroying something pricier that does essentially the same thing. Windows 10 seems promising, the app store is growing every week with big name publishers, and the OS updates bring new features frequently. Xbox integration has been a blessing as well!
As for the tablet though; the screen resolution is great, however the material used in the glass has a weird coating that makes the screen seem not as clear. Your eyes do adjust and it becomes less noticeable with time, but I took off half a star because it seems like this could have been fixed prior to manufacturing. Then again, for the price I really shouldn't complain.
The second half a star comes off because of a glitch in the wireless adapter with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth streaming has been less than optimal, with audio cutting out frequently. And the Wi-Fi adapter seems to freeze up while the tablet is asleep with the only remedy being to disable and re-enable the adapter. Its not every time, and the re-enabling works, but its a rather annoying inconvenience. Hopefully these are driver issues that will be addressed in the future. Overall you can't beat the price. And being able to watch and be a part of the Windows 10 evolution is great!

Bought this tablet as a secondary tablet. Great having Windows 10. Screen resolution is good, performance is good. The only drawback is the battery life. Too short and does deplete when not in use. Overall though, great tablet for the $$. Got it on sale for $129

I've had the "other" tablet for 4 years now but wanted to try a Windows tablet because it can have two apps open at once, plus you can add to the memory. I LOVE this tablet! Do yourself a favor and get the Insignia case for it too. It protects it and props the tablet up for you. Now I can bring my medical info from my PC to my doctors' offices without any hassle. As for the brand Insignia, I have 4 Insignia TV's of varying sizes and I can't say enough good things about this brand.

This is a great tablet. Fast and I like the fact that you can expand the memory. Windows 10 is user friendly, it just takes some getting used to if you are not familiar with it. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is I can't seem to find a cover for it that has a Keyboard. I even called the manufacturer. Other than that this is a great tablet.

Picked this up for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. It is in her hands 24/7. We picked up a wireless keyboard for it and she does all her homework on it. Frees up the desktop for the rest of us. This is a good unit. One big feature we like is the ability to add memory to it, up to 128 gig.

The first one wouldn't connect to BT devices. BB store took it back and had a new one shipped to me home in just a few days. kudos to them. The new one works OK and I added a 128G chip. Do this carefully, it can be tricky to install properly.
I've had it for a couple of months and it works OK.
not the best Bluetooth interface, but that might be the Win. 10 installed, and not device itself.
Charges slowly, charger can't keep up too well while in use. Battery life could be a lot better.
But for the $129 sale price, not bad.

I've had this for a couple of years now and it still works.
The battery life is not that great.
I added my own micro SD chip and it worked OK.
The first one I bought went DOA shortly after setting up, so I had to return it to store. Best Buy sent me a replacement very quickly. It was not a new one, as it had already been set up and still had some of the previous owners data and configurations. I re-initialized it and it has been working OK ever since.
The power switch is a bit wimpy.
But OK for the price I paid for it.

Tablet performs well. Touch sensitivity is my biggest complaint. I did not realize that Windows 10 does not currently allow for storage of programs on the SD card. That is an issue that needs to be updated but not the fault of the tablet

Does what I need it to do. Not as good as a regular Windows Tablet (Not Win 10, the othe Win Tab OS). Obviously switching it to the tablet interface makes it easier to use...but still a small interface. I mainly bought it for studying and using quizers that only work on Windows devices. Battery doesn't last long...especially if watching videos. Overall, not the worst tablet. Average for the money paid.

I purchased this tablet for myself. I havebeen using an I Pad, but could not afford another. The price I spent on this is only 1/4 of a new iPad. Easy decision. I am having difficulty going from iOS to This operating system--my problem, but I like it very much. It charges quickly. The only complaint is that there is no manual except online and that is a pain.

Needed something to keep my 6yr old busy on a few hour flight and didn't want him killing my phone. This did the trick and then some! We used it with the hotel wifi to find out places to go. It literally is a little computer in a tablet. This one also allows you to add a memory card to bring the tablet up to 128gb. Only downfall I have found is that it can only play standard definition movies, HD movies lag quite a bit.

This Insignia Flex 8.9" tablet is a smart, excellent choice. It has all the required functions with extra memory, cameras, large screen, good processor and Windows-10 already loaded. It is really a smart choice to buy.

I was looking for a tablet for my 7 year old boy for Xmas, he had a Nabi but we were having trouble getting it to charge (about 4 years old) so I thought it was time for a new one, this tablet had a price of $149.99 and I caught it on sale for 79.99 and couldn't pass it up, the windows 10 was to confusing for my boy coming from a Nabi with a google play store, I wouldn't recommend for a child unless they are already familiar with windows 10, I ended up having his Grandpa buy him a new one and gave him this one, (papa got way the better end of the deal ;) ) his grandpa speaks highly of it so I am sure it's a great tablet.
