Very good story. I bet it happens in real life too (not the save). It's hard to keep focused on our priorities in life with all these distractions around us. Most of the time, a friend can keep us on the straight and narrow path. Never do life alone - that's when selfishness (or addiction) kicks in big time.

Good movie! Denzel Washington, Bruce Greenwood, and Don Cheadle are great! Terrific special effects. Moving story.

Denzel is my favorite so he can do no wrong. Great emotion grabber... Story line is great. Ranked between EXCELLENT Training Day and GOOD Safe House. Even if he wasn't my favorite actor, I would've added this movie to my movie collection. It's a movie that I would watch numerous times.

I'm a little biased since I'm a huge fan of Denzel, but this movie was amazing. It has it all; drama, suspense, action, just that "it" factor in a movie that may come around once a year. If you haven't yet, watch this movie as soon as you get the chance.

I thought this movie was really good. The characters were believable and the plot kept you interested. I thought Denzel played another excellent role that I could identify with. I enjoyed the ending and the redemptive aspects of the movie. I could watch this movie a few times.

i hear this is a great movie, so i picked it up. i liked it, but it was a little too dark and depressing. there's too much alcohol abuse shown, and i think that's what zemeckis was going for, but it was everywhere. the ending wasn't what i was expecting, but very true to real life.

Denzel Washington knocks the ball out of the park with this performance here, as expected by now at this point in his career. Let me tell you first, this was not the movie I expected it to be. But it has great acting and interesting plot. Great picture quality too. Recommended.

Denzel Washington plays an alcoholic pilot who does a miraculous job crash landing an airplane that has experienced a very severe mechanical problem in midair. He must then face an inquiry which will expose the fact that he was flying while drunk.

Blu-ray disk, thus higher quality viewing, with the extras. And you get a story which is not what you think it is going to be. Superb drama with Denzel Washington at his best. If the first 20 minutes don't want to make you never fly again... (it's only a movie).

This movie grabs you with an unbelievable opening scene and doesn't let go until you are grounded in Denzel's deeply human internal conflict to the last moment of This look at a hero with feet of clay who could be any of us .

Mr. Washington is a great actor. He really shows how a person with a drinking problem behaves and hides his problem drinking on the job and in his every day life until the end of the movie when the movie tries to show a "good" ending.

Denzel Washington plays an alcoholic cocaine addict that comes to the realization that there is more to life then being a drunk, but this realization comes after his heroics of landing an air plane that was impossible to land. Great movie to watch.

I watched this one night on Netflix and I loved it. Really cool movie. Very good story and very entertaining. Denzel is great in this. After watching it once I found myself asking others if they had seen it so when I saw it in sale I bought it.

Has Denzel Washington ever been in a bad movie ? He is one of my favorite actors . This is a great movie about a pilot battling a drinking problem .

What more is there to say really? I've only flown thrice in my lifetime. Scary thought to be a passenger on this flight. If you haven't seen it please watch it! Makes you appreciate a great pilot no matter what.

This is a heavy film to watch, but truthful and flat out Rock N' Roll!!! There are many things that you should be able to relate to on different levels and you cheer for the hero who is labeled a bad guy. Denzel at one of his finest moments!

Awesome. Even if he was sober, he would have had the same problems with the plane. I guess in the long run, hopefully, he learned what he had done throughout his drinking, ruining many lives.

I loved this movie. Denzel was incredible. These types of movies with great character development and a great story are a dying breed. If you are tired of over the top special effects and stupid dialogue then make this your next movie.

Denzel Washington does a great job portraying an airline pilot who is addicted to alcohol. The booze causes his life to spin out of control. It shows the devastation that can come from irresponsible drinking.

Flight a Denzel Movie. Saw this at the Theater previously and thought it was worth bringing home at the Best Buy price. Compelling story line with a tragic ending.
