Not worth getting for the cost

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.May have kept some static electricity off laptop and monitor but does not stay flat even after laying it flat on a table with heavy books and other heavy items on it for 2 days straight, especially the edges would not stay down and curl upward. Even with taping edges down this didn't help as it became "bumpy" in spots making the mouse sometimes not work and would not stay flat no matter what. Maybe if this was only $10 or less, this might be ok, but not worth the $30-$40.

We recommend leaving this product in a warm environment and placing heavy objects on each corner for up to 72 hours.
