This is my first vacuum sealer and I love it! We like to buy food in bulk since we're a family of 5 and with my limited time I wanted a small appliance that was functional, easy to operate, and blended in well with my kitchen décor. I can say that this product exceeds all 3 of my requirements and expectations. I highly recommend this food sealer.

I'm very happy with this product, it has saved me tons of money thusly!!! The marinade option is one of my favorite and most used function. My only regret is I didn't purchase one of these sooner!

I bought this mostly for storing meat in my freezer, I'm now using it on fresh vegetables and fruit as well. I like this model because it stores a bag roll which you use to make your own custom size bags. Love it!

Sits on the counter. Simple, Easy to use -- no excuse not to seal leftovers. Seals fast. Bags stored inside. Makes others obsolete.

The food saver is made well. If compared to the lower model I have I believe this one does not vacuum as well although the automatic feature is nice

This vacuum sealer is easy to set up and use. The instructions are clear and fool-considered. The unit is rugged and easy to clean. This is a valuable addition to my war on food waste.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom after we have used ours the last 6 months. Does a great job vacuum sealing the food and keeps frozen food longer. No freezer burn :).

I bought this sealer to use for meats (steaks, chops, turkey breasts) to "Sous Vide", but I also use it for leftovers to freeze whenever I make a huge pot of chili, etc. If you haven't tried Sous Vide to cook meats, Oh...give it a try. You'll need a quality sealer, like this one. I'm sure when we dine out, this how/why steaks are so tender & never over-cooked, chicken breasts are moist and so wonderful.

It works great and would recommend to anyone who wants to save good for later!

Very easy to use. Really like the marinade cycle, use it all the time.

It creates an air tight seal. The only problem is, is when the bag is wet it well not seal completely.

I love this thing!!!! I read the manual before using to learn to make bags and this FoodSaver-Vacuum Food Sealer is wonderful. It is money saver. Easy to use, but it is a bit noisy when sealing a bag. Living with the noise, but I use it all the time!!!

I have just purchased this vacuum sealer and have sealed about 60 lbs of food and am getting ready to do about another 50 lbs. So far it has done a really good job. I am hoping that it will last longer that the last vacuum sealer that i had which only lasted for about 175 lbs of food being sealed.

This was so easy to use! I used it for some bakery cookies to send to a friend in Afghanastan...took 2-1/2 weeks to get there and he said they were still fresh and tasted wonderful!

this helps save a lot of space in your freezer and helps with buying in bulk and food still tasting great

I had been thinking about buying one of these several times, but finally made the leap and will never regret it. When you have cooked for years for a large group and then the household goes down to just 2, it is hard to learn to "cut the recipe" but also sometimes cutting, just not the right taste. No more waste, no more throwing out things, and the next time we get the craving it will be in the freezer ready to reheat.

Has worked great with no issues. Used it for several different food items. It also works great for condensing and water proofing everything in my three day kits we keep in the vehicles.

We have found this to be very valuable for buying in bulk and freezing in portions for just two people.

I had to play with this for a while before I felt comfortable with it. I also watched You-Tube videos. However, I am glad I can buy meat in bulk along with fresh vegetables and have them any time from the freezer.
