This games looks amazing. The learning curve is steep as you are manipulating several parts of the controller at once . I have not yet played online as I want to have a good grasp of the mechanics before heading out to get slaughtered.

Initially I was completely put off by the product on release because of all the rightfully posted negative reviews. Lack of dedicated servers, game play, loot boxes ect..However,I picked this up after seeing E3 coverage in which the developers revealed more content to come later this year and was pleasantly surprised. While I can't personally attest for the struggle that day 1 players of this franchise went through I can say that all the changes that were put into this game were worth it. Takes time to learn, but that's the type of game I like, especially with fighters. To truly master your character is an accomplishment in itself prior to obtaining glory on the battle field. Recommended for those looking for a fighting alternative.

This game is really fun, but definitely requires time to master. A single player/co-op campaign is a welcome inclusion, and the multiplayer duels and brawls are where this game shines. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of it's player to player connectivity. Not having dedicated servers was a huge mistake, and so with some 4v4 matches, the connection can lag a bit. Another gripe is the pay to win scheme. Yes, you can grind to get anything, but because of how slow that grind is, and how powerful later equipment bonuses can get, it makes you want to spend even more money on their in-game currency, so definitely not a fan of that. All in all though, this game is crisp, visually pleasing, and an entertaining idea for a more 3D streetfighter-esque game in medieval times.

This is a unique game offering a mix of several types of hand to hand combat with different factions. The campaign gives you a brief introduction to most of the styles, although pretty much every mission is the exact same thing. Most people will play this for the multiplayer, because it has a deep leveling system with lots of unlock a bowl's for each character. I could see someone spending many many hours grinding away through multiplayer to build their own perfect fighter. During my playtime, I came to the realization that you are essentially doing the same thing over and over again. Whenever faced with more than one opponent, you are almost guaranteed to lose based on the way the system is set up. Overall fun for a few hours, but it grew stale for me quite quickly.

Great game, tactics and great graphics. I prefer Samurai.

This game has a great concept with good execution. Like most fight games, it has a learning curve, a steep one. If you like a dark souls type challenge then this game is for you. Both single and multilayer modes are fun.

Took a while to purchase this game but it is awesome

Fun game to pass the time. Really is just a big multi player game. Don't come looking for a single player mode. It's the tutorial basically. In the end its all about pushing people off of ledges than sword fightinh.

So this game. Wow. Lots to say, I'll keep it short and simple. Great game, it's fun, REALLY fun if you play with friends. Combat is pretty good. It can get frustrating at times, everyone is playing Assassins mostly, kinda overtaking the game. Bit unfortunate that we got almost 12 different characters, with more coming soon, and yet everyone hopped on the assassin bandwagon. Graphics are great. No matter what system, its a good looking game. The only reason I give it a solid 4/5 is because there is some balance issues that need to be addressed. Ubisoft has been pretty quiet, can't blame them though the game did just come out. Hopefully Assassins get a very very slight nerf to make the game feel balanced towards everyone!

Great graphics, excellent gameplay, fun single-player mode. My only gripe is the requirement for an "always on" internet connection (even in single player mode!), but it is really a non-issue if you have a full time internet connection already. Still, there should be an "offline" option for single player.

classic game with a new feel for 2017, my son loves the game and i would recommend this game to anyone.

This game is insanely awesome!!! From the graphics, to the music, to the voice acting, etc. It is all very well done. Perhaps the best combat game I have ever played. The combat system is a bit difficult to master but still deeply fulfilling when able to execute it properly and land a crushing blow to prompt the execution of your opponent.!!! I was able to play online for about a total of 10 to 12 days. Then one day I went to play and was prompted to purchase PlayStation Plus. That ended my online play. I am not going to pay $60 just to play one game online. I would have given this a 5 star rating if that were not the case. Apparently there was a small window where you could play online for free. How disappointing…

My son loves this game. It's easy to pick up and very addicting. Perhaps a bit violent, but oh well.

The game looks great and is really fun to play. I got a good deal on it during Black Friday.

Great game if you have the time and patience for the steep learning curve. Every character has his/her own moves to master. After a few hours it all starts to make sense and the fun begins.

Just an amazing game I love the story mode the online is even better just an amazing game
