I purchased this as a gift for my grandson. He likes the game because it's challenging.

I enjoyed this game it's combat is deeper than it appears but not hard to learn unfortunately the single player campaign is somewhat bland and can make the combat start to feel tedious

Highly recommended who likes sword fighting games and like strategy style genre.

Okay, so the game looks really nice. Right off the bat I can say that confidently. I really enjoy playing it for the visuals and for the actual gameplay. I haven't really touched the Story mode so I can't speak much abou that, other than the fact that I've heard that it's decent. My biggest gripe with this game is that it has horrible balancing. Some characters, especially the Vikings, have things about them that make it genuinely un-fun. For a game that has a huge focus on skill, it really rewards un honorable kills like grouping up against one person. If this were to be fixed it would make the game much more enjoyable.

If you are into games like Mortal Kombat, which I actually suck at, then you might enjoy this game. I had a very big problem at the beginning at playing this game because I well sad to say it, was just not very good. It was just so much fun though even if I sucked, but it could get frustrating. losing all the time. After days of going into practice mode and working on timing with a particular character, then throwing myself in 2v2 matches against good players. I have become a better player and now I kick serious butt at times! This game takes time and hours to get better, and each character is so different. If you keep at it you will get better and it can pay off. It reminds me of a 3D Mortal Kombat with emphasis on defense and counterattacking. I understand why people are not into multiplayer heavy games, but I am loving it.

I expected an actiony souls-esque experience in the three rival faction setting. Not quite. What I received is a great fighting game that's fairly deep with plenty of variance between characters. The faction war didn't really seem to matter, so that's a bit disappointing​, but didn't affect my judgment of the game. The server problems are bad though. I've gone entire nights of playing where I couldn't finish one game because I kept getting disconnected. Aggravating to say the least. I just want to play this awesome game but the multiplayer issues don't let me as much as I want to.

The game is good I beat it kind of quick but it was worth it

Definitely worth the money if you like gritty multiplayer fighting games with a touch of jack and slash. Only downside is that the servers are p2p.

After seeing friends play this a couple of times, I thought I would give it a shot. Its so much better to play than watching. I enjoyed the game.

I really enjoyed the campaign and how well they organized the multiplayer. Did get repetitive and is only thing keeping me from a higher score.

For Honor is a great online game to play with friends or by yourself. It features multiple modes of play-- taking and keeping bases, elimination matches 1 on 1, 2 on 2 and 4 on 4 as well as skirmishes. It comes down to working well by yourself as well as working in a team. There is a short story mode that is easy to complete on normal, but only gets harder and harder as you ramp up the difficulty. This game is easy to play, but challenging to master, making the learning curve fun the whole way through.

Game play, graphics, and solid hit detection. Matchmaking and progression system could use some work. But dlc and patching will likely fix these minor issues. Over all I'm floored how well it turned out!
