Jackie Chan and Jet Li, you can’t go wrong. My favorites

A fun martial arts fantasy adventure. Jet Li and Jackie Chan star with Michael Angarano battle an ancient evil force in ancient China and rescue the Monkey King. Nice special effects. Looks great in Blu Ray (wish this was released in 4K).

alot of fun to be had. watch this movie with your kids.

Good movie for people who like kung fu movies and fantsy

purchased this movie for my husband as a birthday gift. he did not say he didn't like it.

great movie. a must see for any fans of martial arts flicks.

You need to be into Japanese tales of the Monkey King to really "get" this movie. The Monkey King is always getting into trouble because of his sprightly attitude and his tremendous strength and fighting skills. The movie does a classic story of inexperienced wannabe acquiring the one thing that will grant his wishes: a magical staff belonging to the Monkey King. A little like King Arthur and a bit like Charlie Chaplin, the Monkey King can use this staff to defeat all his enemies. Our stalwart hero gets more than his dream of kung-fu fighting and incredible feats of daring while returning the magical weapon. Everyone gets their chance to tell their story and defeat their adversaries. In the end the viewer feels as if they were part of the action. Great guy flick, probably not so good for most women.

This movie wasn't bad. There was plenty of action and martial arts and Jackie Chan and Jet Li were great. It was very reminiscent of Karate Kid but set in a chinese fantasy setting and I think this was the weak link for me. Other than that, I thought the movie was great the whole mythical story line was interesting and I thought the witch bounty hunter was a cool idea. Even with the Karate Kid theme it was a good movie.

Okay movie, story line not that good With jet lee in this movie I was hoping that it would have been a more realistic and serious story/fight sceens. Although there were some good special effects but the story had too many playful fight scenes and unrealistic jumping scenes. the story line also remind me of the karate kid movie as well. I was not a fan of those movies. It could have been a lot better. All of Jackie chan movies are unrealistic and have playful fight scenes. If you like serious and realistic story and fight scenes this is not the movie for you. Oh yeah! The special effects was very good and the blue ray picture was out standing. Plus, the sound effects was very good as well.

Finally the two masters have done a movie together. I was wondering when this was going to happen. I love this movie, and I watch it almost everyday! I think they should come up with a sequel to this movie. Another pairing of the two great fighters would be great, but i'd like to see a sequel! Only other thing i wish to comment about has nothing to do with the movie. I think that the box art that comes with a new movie should stay. I think it makes them stack better, and protect your Blu Ray Disks more! At the very least make sure to include the box art on all online purchases. I'm sure they are there. That's just something i wanted to add.

I love tales based on the Monkey King. Dragon Ball Z for instance is also loosely based on the Monkey King. This story however is live action and has a great cast and if fun to watch.

This is a really good fantasy adventure movie with two of my favorite actors (Jackie Chan and Jet Li). A boy finds himself in a different world and becomes the key to the future of that world.

I enjoy this type of movie and the Best Buy pricing was the selling point for me. I always check the 'specials' bin for DVDs and Blu-rays when I visit my Best Buy Store.

The fight scenes are pretty impressive, and you can't go wrong with jet li and jackie chan both on screen. The fantasy story is pretty creative and imaginative. Good watch overall.

The Forbidden Kingdom is awesome. Blu-ray makes it even more enjoyable. Jackie Chan and Jet Li are outstanding, and this is probably the most exhilarating martial arts movie ever!

This movie was awsome. I absolutely love karate flicks. This movie features both Jackie Chan and Jet Li where they both more than showcase their martial art skills. The storyline is good but some of the special effects are even better. There are plenty of fight scenes for you to enjoy and if you have surround sound it is even better. The Blu-ray video and sound for this movie is awsome too. I would recommend this movie to anyone.

A nice fun family movie that has Jackie Chan and Jet Li fighting each other. The movie was kind of short.
