It was a little difficult to figure out how some of the tools work but a friend helped and he was able to play it. Doesn't play it often though usually battles online.

Fortnite is a different take on a tower defense game. You collect resources and use them to build structures and traps to protect the objectives from zombie-like creatures. All-the-while you collect weapons and level up your hero character. Pros- The game is very fluid. The character movement and controls are smooth, as well as the aiming and cross hairs. The graphics are a mix of classic platformer with sort of a colorful cartoony look, however the graphics are smooth and fun. Grinding to find good loot is a good way to spend time if you are in to that aspect of games. If I would have written this review before I reached the second city on the map I would have given this game 2 stars, because it was far too easy; however after playing into the second city, I can retract my statement. The first city is almost like a LONG tutorial; mostly teaches you the ropes. Team play is necessary through-out 90% of the game which could be a pro or con. The combat is great, your heroes acquire movesets that can help you fight of hordes if you get separated from your team. As you get further in the game you unlock different quests that help the game have longevity. Cons - The game overall feels flat after a few hours; the scavenging and looting gets repetitive. Some missions are too easy. The multiplayer is highly encouraged, but the game doesn't reward team effort. Side-missions within quests will reward everyone, even if someone didn't help, or it will only reward one person, even if everyone helped. The game is also a cash trap if you want to get decent items. You need at least 100v (in-game currency) which is rewarded by completing in game missions that are few and far between, or you can spend $10 and buy 1000v. Players with expendable funds run around with Legendary Heroes and weapons and can clear lower level missions with a breeze, which makes it boring for people that want the challenge. Personal Opinion- I like most of the game. I play with friends, so the multiplayer aspect is great for me. I like the drop-in-drop-out of the multiplayer part as well. If the game wasn't a "pay-to-win" I would have given it 5 Stars. Still a solid game and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Minecraft, Plants v Zombies, State of Decay, Gears of War, and tower combat games, as it is a mixture of all of those.

Fortnite is better than PUBG.Millions of more people prefer Fortnite over PUBG.Fortnite doesn't lag/ glitch out Whenever I play fortnite it only lags a little bit but PUBG every time I play it I can't even get to the home page/ starting page. Easier to shoot in Fortnite than PUBG.In Fortnite you have a white circle in your scope that helps you aim but in PUBG you don’t.

With the addition of battle royale (which is free) this game is becoming better and better. The single player is fun and the continued changes make it better every time. I highly recommend playing with friends only, can become tedious when solo

I've been a fan of Gearbox games since the first Borderlands game. This game does have some of the same elements... however it's main drawbacks are: It really tries to push in game currency (real $ for fake $) pay to play. it's very repetitive, graphics are subpar for our current tech there is no "off-line" campaign, so beware of that, if it's something you look for in a game. In fact, this is an on-line game only! There are things that are cool and unique about this game, you get teamed up with people to find an objective, protect it, fighting off waves of enemies like in Gears-Horde mode. To build up your fort, and to craft items you will have to use your pick axe tool to destroy: trees, rocks, cars, etc. to get materials. Similar to Minecraft. Be wary: as well as having subpar graphics, it's almost too cutesy and cartooney for the taste of most adults. I personally look at a game for other non superficial strengths... is it fun? Does it have replay value? The main reason I give it 3 stars instead of 4, is because immediately after buying it, I saw a $40.00 option on the Xbox home screen. Apparently I paid for $20 worth of in-game currency type of stuff, which if I could do it over again... I would get the $40 version. In summary it is worth checking out, especially for 40
