Forza Horizon 2 takes the original Forza Horizon formula and sets it loose across the Mediterranean. Earning money is easier and the events feel like less of a grind. You can drive almost anywhere you can see. The offroad driving is intense and enjoyable. It is so fun that it outshines the normal driving. The graphics are great and the weather effects are very realistic. The entire game is quasi-online. You will see friends' driveatars driving around the world. You can challenge them to race anytime. You can also go to race meets, a lobby really, and race real people at any time.

I can't stop playing this game! All the cars and customization is incredible. If your into cars this is the game for you. You'll not get disappointed.

I have always loved the Forza franchise and this one is great. It's like the rest of the series in the controls and tuning but in an open world environment. You can pick street races, enter in full races, events and just cruise the countryside. This one has fun options to not just tune the car as usual but also adds swaps of different engines and drivetrains. Highly recommend as a great driver game without being tied to a series of races on tracks. This one is also nice that it is pretty easy to start massing different cars. It makes playability fun with many options.

I am a big fan of driving/racing games, and enjoyed Forza Horizon quite a bit. It was therefore an easy decision to buy Forza Horizon 2 when it was on sale. I have not had a chance to play the game for hours on end, but what I have seen so far is very positive. There aren't any huge alterations to what was an already-good game, but it appears to have better graphics, and the handling of the cars is excellent. It's an ideal blend of realistic driving simulator and arcade racing game that is well worth purchasing for racing game enthusiasts like myself.

They have nice graphics and good game dynamics. The selection of cars is possibly endless. Get the storm island expansion pack as well worth the price.

The graphics are so real you forget you are playing a game. This is one of the best racing games you can buy. Can't wait for for the new Forza 6 too!

Forza Horizon 2 takes racing to the next level on the newer gen Xbox. The game takes great looking cars, realistic sounds and lets you drive in an open world setting. Also, the game rewards you for exploring the area where you can find hidden cars. Please be aware that cars unlocked through codes or DLC can only be used once you progress through the game and unlock them locally. The code does not put the car in your virtual garage immediately I found. Despite the minor set back/disappointment the game keeps the Forza quality of racing in a picturesque open world setting.

Awesome racing game neither arcade nor sim but something in between making it one of the best open world racing games out to date. Lots of races that take you through amazing scenic routes and put you up against other forms of transportation making those particular races feel like awesome set pieces. Great selection of cars and all fully customizable, the lack of sim "rules" allows you to take any car (even a daily driver you might own) and put it up against cars who in real life clearly out class it. There's something for every racer even the hardcore sim fan waiting for Forza 6 or GT7. It's good to play a good ol' fun racing game that doesn't take itself too seriously but still maintaining a level of sophistication. If none of the above made sense I'm saying the game is good and is worth a shot. Most fun I've had with a racing game in a while.

I purchased Forza Horizon 2 during a Best Buy sale and I've been extremely happy with this game. The attention to detail is amazing and the game provides hours and hours of game play (I already have 9 hours in!). If you're a racing fan or simply love automobiles with various customization options, then this game is for you. This is hands down one of the best racing games I've played since the OLD need for speed and burnout games from the old PS2/Xbox days. Pick this up!

Forza Horizon 2 for me strikes the perfect balance between simulation and arcade racing. The game is totally forgiving, but still requires skill every now and again. See for me Forza 5 was pretty but way to complex. I don't want to drive a video game car like I'm driving in reality. I want to go way too fast into turns, power slide, drift, crash and keep on moving. Forza Horizons provides that. There are also points in the game where you need to drive straight through tall grass and open fields. During these portions, or other races in general, going off road isn't a race ending mistake. And even if you mess up, you've got the rewind function to save you. The game is great excellent. It has so much more to do than Forza 5 did. It also has tons of cars for you to play with.

Great fun. Open world, go anywhere (almost) on road and off road. Easy to pick up and play but still challenging. Good variety of cars and races. Awesome graphics, day, night and rain. More arcade, less simulator.
