    My wife loves it!

My wife recently joined team Pixel but needed a good replacement for her Apple watch. After some extensive research we landed on this 41mm Fossil Sport. She absolutely loves it! One of the concerns was the watches size on her wrist, but with it's design and rounded face she feels it's a great fit over something larger like a Galaxy watch or ticwatch pro. Not to say the Galaxy watch is much bigger, but she feels the Fossil Sport is way lighter and just feels right. Performance is fantastic and battery life outstanding with the latest software update! I personally have a 43mm silver model and wouldn't change a thing at this time.

Got this from my wife. I was looking for a smartwatch without having to pay a fortune..The watch can receive test and you can reply but you cannot make phone calls with it. Alltogether I like the feel and looks of it. I changed the bad to a stainless steel option..it was easy to do. Depending on what you are looking for in a Sport/Smartwatch this covers pretty mich the basic.

I really love this watch. It caught my eye as I was glancing other watches. - You can see incoming texts/calls but have to reply back directly on my phone. I wish I was able to text back on the watch. - Tracks your steps - I had issues setting it up when I first turned it on but I figured it out - Different battery saver mode. In my opinion the battery lasts longer than my phone’s battery.

I've been researching smartwatches for over a month now. My final choices were the Fitbit Versa 2, the Galaxy watch, and the Fossil Sport. When Best Buy dropped the price of the Fossil Sport to $99, I at least had to try it. I figured the worst that could happen is that I would hate it and return it. Well I don't hate it. I love the fact that I can track my heart rate, and get notifications of email, text and phone calls. I also like that I can respond to texts right from the watch. I haven't run with it yet so I can't yet comment on the accuracy of GPS and steps, but I will update my review when I run with it. The watch is sometimes slow to respond, but after using it for 3 days now it seems to be responding faster. The battery life will get me through the day with GPS and always on display turned off. A little disappointing but I didn't expect great battery life after reading other reviews. The first night I had the watch it failed to charge overnight. That could possibly be user error, but it's something I'll keep an eye on. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. It's not an Apple watch or a top of the line Samsung, but for my uses it's more than adequate.

I'd had a few fit watches (spent under $100) and they sit in the drawer as they were complicated or uncomfortable. I'm beginning a new fitness routine and decided I'd give this one a try. I found this watch fits the bill for me. I agree the battery life issue is a downer, but I've trained myself to put it on the charger each night before bed. I also felt the markdown was pretty phenomenal as this watch was selling for over $300 when it first came out. Best Buy had it on clearance for $99, so for the money I felt it was a good purchase. The band is super comfortable too. watchI got this watch

Nice watch, Wear OS needs improvements

If you're looking for an Android-supported smart watch, this should be on your list for consideration. Battery life depends greatly on the watch face you choose. initially, I couldn't make it through one day without having to charge because of a very active watch face I was using. I settled on the Pixel Watch Face available in the Play Store and now I easily make it over a day. I love the activity tracking and sleep tracking (with Sleep As Android apps for Android and Wear OS). However, if you're looking for something that can challenge the Apple Watch, you'll likely be disappointed in any Wear OS wearable at this stage in its development. The processors used for Wear OS wearables (Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 and 3100) have middling performance, and I have had regular cases of watch lag. With that said, I am so far mostly satisfied, but Google needs to get on the ball with improving Wear OS from the software and hardware sides.

The watch is comfortable to wear and has many options to customize. Haven't compared the measurement accuracy, but I am happy with it so far. Swim proof is a big plus. Battery life is around a day,

Nice watch for the price, but....

So here's the deal... I like this watch for the price but it has a few shortcomings. First, the battery life could be longer... Can be tough to get a full day out of the watch. I get a lot of notifications on my phone and with the watch letting me know about all of them with a buzz, it killed the battery in half a day. I turned off all but essential notifications for the watch and it does MUCH better, but still tends to drain faster than I would've expected. Second, when you "shake to wake" to activate the full watch face (most faces have full and dimmed versions which may differ in the amount of content provided), the full face only stays on for I believe 3 seconds, which is too short to orient your eyes to the watch and find the info you're looking for. I do not believe there is a native way to extend that but I am researching to find an app which gives some flexibility there. Hope this helps.

Starting to really enjoy this watch

I lost my Fitbit so decided to take the plunge and move to a smartwatch. It has taken me a while to get used to this but I am really starting to appreciate it. Things I like: Full notifications are great where you don't have to get your phone out all the time. I can start Google fit from the watch. The swype keyboard works really well on the watch and I find myself answering texts from the watch way more than I thought I would. It took a while to get used to the battery life after the fitbit but I now just think of it like my phone - it will get through the day (24 hours) most days unless i am messing with new watchfaces or installing stuff. It does seem to use a lot when I am tracking an activity but I just throw it back on the charger while in the shower and it charges amazingly fast so that takes care of that. I love that when the battery does drop down it still has a working watch so you are not walking around with a totally useless device on your arm. Things I don't like: I didn't like the band it came with - not very comfy. The sleep tracking with sleep as android is a far cry from the fitbit and drives me crazy but that is more an app issue than a device issue. Overall, this is a great watch.

Decent smartwatch for the price. Like many before me have said, aka basically every review out there, battery life isn't the best, but it's also not the worst. I like how it connects to the charger a lot more than the Fossil watch gen 2/3 (can't remember which one I had). A lot more responsive than my old Fossil watch. Bought it on sale for $99 so I'd say I'm getting my money's worth. I basically use it as an expensive a**/less childish looking digital watch (my butt can't read the minute lines on analog without squinting really badly) and the occasional timer. Got geek squad with it so I don't have to worry in the event that case the plastic breaks, that was another common complaint I saw when researching it. Although honestly if push comes to shove I'm cool with wearing it on a lanyard like an old school stopwatch. Lol.

Guess what - we get what we pay for, right? Fossil is a brand name but they need to work with the smart team in a smarter way to make better smart watches. Though it looks pretty cute, dealing with it hasn't been the easiest. Relatively shorter battery life but I can deal with that by frequent/daily charging. What I didn't quite like was setting it up and using it. It has had glitches/disconnections too often to be ignored. Contemplating on if I want to keep it or return it. I am hoping that the watch will learn and will have an upgrade soon as well!

While I've only had this watch for about 5 days now, I've got to say this is a phenomenal smartwatch for the price. Other than the initial setup, the Fossil Sport has been extremely quick and responsive, and I haven't had any issues with speed unlike some other reviewers. Battery life has also been pretty good, after using it from about 6:30am to 10:30pm, it still has about 30-40% battery life left. I do have tilt-to-wake turned OFF and the always-on-display ON, which is something I highly recommend. The design is also very sleek and modern on this guy, and you can buy extra bands if you want to dress it up to look a bit more formal. Overall I definitely recommend this watch, especially if you're just now dipping your toes into the realm of Wear OS watches or are looking to upgrade from an older smart watch!

For $99 I was willing to take a chance. For the regular $265, I would have been crazy mad at this watch. For $99, still was not worth it. WearOS is...so behind it is not even funny. The Google Assistant and most of this watch's UI was terribly slow, the updates crashed a few times and then, I unpaired and tried to re-pair and I could never get it to link to the WearOS app on my phone at all after days of trying. I did not think a watch could have as poor of battery life as the Apple Watch - I was wrong. This thing did not last over a single day. When not even being lightly used, it was dead in less than 15 hours. Active? It would die in 10-12 hours. Wow. WearOS is not something I can use without a LOT of work and optimization. If this is the kind of experience one can expect with a newer chip like the Qualcomm 3100, I am amazed. How is this reviewed well anywhere? Returned for the $99 - even it was free I would return it. It is simply not usable as its intended function at all for many reasons. The Fitbit Versa 2 I bought instead - light years ahead on every level.

I saw a lot of reviews talking about the battery life, for me the battery is ok. You have to work you way around the settings to get the better life out of it. And people also complain about the watch lagging, but at least for me i dont see the issue. I would recommend the watch but only for light users. Heavy users will run out of the battery really fast. But who is looking at a watch all day!!!??

I bought this in anticipation of a trip (which was ultimately canceled) because I wanted an easy way to view notifications without having to pull my phone out. It does that nicely! For $100 on sale, "you get what you pay for". For those who are into fitness, it only tracks heart rate. If you pair to Google Fit, it will track distance too. Still works well 9 months later.

The watch was working great until it started receiving updates from Fossil. It know disconnects from the phone randomly and most of the time notifications on my phone are not being delivered to my watch. Battery does last all day, watch looks great and the screen scratches easily.

I have been a Samsung watch owner since smart watches really came on to the scene. I couldn't pass up the deal for this Fossil watch and I got a good watch for the money. due to the size and app availability i will be most likely be going back to Samsung when I'm ready to get my next watch.

works great. I have had problems with the sensor on past watched and since this one doesn't constantly run it is perfectly comfortable, so an A+ on that end. Not a fan of the band on the watch, and it does have to be charged daily. Also runs slow from time to time
