I order a lot of my steel books from Best Buy. I feel the quality of the item is worth the price and here lately Best Buy has been marketing their steel books around five dollars cheaper than usual, smart move. I would like to say that Best Buy does a great job of packaging and making sure I receive my item in mint condition. I've also noticed I'm starting to receive my movies on the store release date, through the mail, Cudos ' Best Buy , good work. I have not had time to watch the movie yet but I'm a fan of Mickey Rourke and the Director Frank Miller kicks rear. Thanks !

A Good sequel to the original 'Sin City'

A Good sequel to the original'Sin City' , however a little confusing at times . Characters thought dead in the original have now returned(Bruce Willis among others) without a viable explanation. Good if you saw the original, average if you didn't. The original was far better.

If you like the Sin City world, then this movie is a good way to get back in touch with these characters. It doesn't match the highs of the original nor the novelty, but it doesn't go completely off the rails like other the directors other sequels such as Spy Kids 3 or Machete Kills.

As a big fan of Frank Miller's work, I was drawn to the original Sin City and felt it was a very interesting piece of cinema. Loyal to the original work. The original Sin City just as this new movie are comic book pages jumping out at you. The 3D is great but the story is just ok.

If you haven't seen the first Sin City (the better one) you will be somewhat lost in this one. It's grittier and for no apparent reason it keeps travelling into depression. Still, it's Frank Miller as he wants to be seen and Robert Rodriguez is the best director working today.

This movie is billed as a prequel to the first Sin City, but some of the characters are presented as future versions of themselves so while some who died are returned, some who were in their infancy as characters are shown later in life. As with the original this is shown in parts, each part covers a particular story but some scenes overlap. I really enjoyed seeing some favorite characters return for a new story and it moves really well. The DVD offers some different looks and an all green screen option for the movie that was worth a look.

A Dame to kill for is that rare beast in the movie world "an awesome sequel". Jessica Alba has refined her character and it works. Not only did she turn up the heat but at the end she added a raw toughness that gave dimension to not only the character but to the movie. The whole film has a "pulp fiction" structure and feel that will keep you guessing. Bruce Willis is slipped into the plot in a slick way that has a "sixth sense" flair that gave a strong emotional push at the end. There are many other things to say but hey JUST WATCH THIS MOVIE.

Two tales are told in this visual thriller. Both are easy to follow but not the gritty story telling that was the original Sin City. Still it is a beautiful and exciting movie. The show belongs to Eva Green and Mickey Rourke. Two professionals that really make things fun.

If you are a fan of Sincity/Frank Miller, this picks up where the last movie left off. While there is some criticism that one of the actors changed, I didn't notice. The movie adaptation stays true to the comic book so if you have read it, there are no surprises.

This is a movie that if you look for anything deeper than old film noir cliches and pulpy dialogue.. Then your watching the wrong movie... Very stylish and great 3D. The plot is paper thin but the compositions and visuals are exactly as the original. Recommended.

The story line at times seemed choppy with some of the as well. The visuals are amazing and the acting like Mr. Rourke nailed it. The deceptive chick acting needs work. The overall theme is awesome to be a true sin city movie and the women are all HOT!!!!

Jessica Alba... 3D... Sin City... what could go wrong? Apparently, quite a bit. Sin City 2 is no where near as good as the first film. It's pacing is off, the story isn't as intriguing... I could go on. You've already heard these things. I still enjoyed it. The 3D blu-ray is awesome, and kind of makes me wish the original film had a 3D blu-ray release. Highly recommend this combo pack, especially for the price, which is usually quite reasonable now that it has been out for a while.

I am a collector of 3D movies. Sin City is a favorite and the effects are decent I 3D. Actually prefer the first movie, as sequels tend to fall short. The movie is still good and enjoy watching again now and then

I didn't know if I would like this type movie. I watched the first one and it was ok. This one was better. Mickey Rourke is awesome. I think if you give it a chance you may like it like I did. Just don't shut it off and stay with it. It is decent.

Definitely enjoyed this film, but thought it was much grittier than the first. The black & white composition helps to tone down the violence a bit, at least the visualization of the gore. Can be an enjoyable watch if you're not too sensitive.

I'm a big 3D fan. This movie does not have many pop-out effects but it is beautiful to see in 3D. I paid $9.99 for it and it was well worth that and more. You won't be disappointed. Pick this up and added to your 3D collection.

Looks very crisp and clean on Blu-ray and the audio is spot on. The movie itself stuck in the past with the original Sin City and doesn't really try anything new. The stories are still enjoyable. It is lacking in special features though.

I looked forward to this title on Blu-ray because I missed it in the theaters. Although not as good as the first, this film is worth watching and owning. If possible, catch the steelbook version but the regular BD has the same content.

This is another moving work of art. The same style that made the first Sin City so great has made this movie fun to watch as well. I do not think it is as good as the first Sin City, but I still found it rather entertaining.
