This movie is good but not great.. there is too long of a gap between the original and sequel being made..overall the cast/storylines are ok but nowhere near as good as the original

The first Sin City was a visually stunning and showed a unique look at how graphic novels and movies can join together to make something beautiful. After almost a decade the rust was revealed with a subbed in characters and pointless cameos. Letting that go I can honestly say that the story and visuals, which try to hold up to the original, are what keeps this franchise interesting. I bought the BluRay version because I am a fan of these movies. Hopefully they will learn from this installment and get the series back on track.

The storyline of the movie is not very strong but the 3D effects more than make up for lack of a cohesive plot. Highly recommend for those with surround sound and 3D TVs.

As I recall this movie was panned upon release but I found it to be a good film. The black & white scenery w/ touches of color is cool and true to Frank Miller's comics.

1st off - GREAT MOVIE!!!! 2nd - Perfect movie for 3D, if any comic book movie should be in 3D it was this one, it made it look like every shot was a comic book panel...It was magnificent, the cast was great, great continuation of the 1st movie, as I sit here and write this it makes me wonder just how much more awesome the 1st one would have been in 3D...A definite must own!!!

Eye popping visually and literally...(one scene depicts just that). Looks great in 3-D or Blu-Ray. But then I'm a huge fan of Miller and Rodriguez anyway. Buy it and enjoy it.

good movie but wasn't as strong as the first. This is a good film to check out if your a fan of the first just don't have your hopes up to high. Steelbook is sick by the way.

I met Frank Miller once, at a comics convention after he had started his run on Daredevil - he has just kept getting better whatever the medium he chooses to explore.

I love Sin City from the comic books to the movies, but the second movie's plot wasn't as I expected. Great price on Black Friday deals though. Overall, 4/5 to be fair

The visual style was the same as the original Sin City which is to say GREAT. but the plot was much simpler and straight forward. one bad girl and one good girl. The end.

Not as good as I had hoped, but not everything from the comic can be presented in the movie, or it would be three times as long just to get more details in.

I thought that both movies were entertaining and kind of groundbreaking as far as the look and fell, cinematography. The story and actors are entertaining.

Good flick with lots of features but the fact is things don't work without having to overlook actor changes and questionable plot twisting. Sin lives but isn't the best.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is more of the same and that is not a bad thing. If you liked the first you will like the second and it comes in a awesome steelbook case.

Being a huge fan of the first movie from a visually creative standpoint, this movie was just... good. Still visually cool, but the story wasn't as good as the first.

I thought this movie was good, they had most of the same actors from the first sin city and it continued on some of the same characters story lines. Fun to watch.

If your a fan of the first Sin City, then this is a must buy. If you haven't even heard of Sin City, I still recommend this one of a kind flick.

If you were a fan of the original Sin City then you'll be on board for what this brings to the table. Not a perfect movie, but a lot of down and dirty fun.

When I saw the original Sin City and watched it I was surprised at how the unique style of black and white with a lot of red and color used in the movie worked for me. I really enjoyed the first one and picked up this one not expecting it to be as good but was surprised at how well it matches up to the original. Great entertainment for mature audiences!

While there are 2 stories that were not an graphic novel format, the movie is a whole Falls just the one story. But you have to love the action and overall scenery
